I have tried high end irons and numerous cheap drugstore ones. conair seems to be the one that is built to last. For the price, this is a really nice curling iron. I can quickly curl my hair and the curls will stay in for most of the day. This did leave my hair smelling a little burnt, but for the price and how nice this works, it's worth it.
