It heats up really high, and the curls do stay, but if you want tighter curls, get a smaller sized barrel. It works perfect January 9, 2009, 6:25 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Better for loose curls than smoothing
by Dramaqueenie2 (14 reviews)I like to use a large barreled curling iron to straighten my hair and turn the ends under. This iron clamps the hair to tightly too pull it through easily. But it is good for making loose banana curls. April 19, 2008, 12:47 pm0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
