Style Confusion
This is one of the heat stylers I'd probably stray from if it was my only choice considering the following. If you curl your hair with this, by chance, you may get the ringlets you want but sometimes it gets a bit irritating having to follow your hair in between the raised guides, otherwise you'd end up with crimped hair and unnatural folds and it can turn into a nightmare. I'm a firm believer that curling irons don't need a guide because hair looks more natural that way and this seemed just to hassle anyone trying to fix their hair with it. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

Favorite~
I bought this after reading the reviews on it from Target.com (5 stars from 31 reviews as of March 26, 2011) and loved it. At $15, it was relatively cheap for what I think is a great product. My curls were defined and I had very little to no trouble getting my hair fall into the guides. One of my family members with very short hair tried this as well and also adored it. I am really pleased with this product. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

1/2 inch version is Better!
There doesn't seem to be a post for the 1/2 inch version of this product but I am going to review it anyway considering it is essentially the same thing. I don't know whether it has something to do with the little metal spiral but I get amazing curls with this product! You have to understand: I am curl-illiterate. I have never been able to achieve a curly look on myself. Ever. I got this bad boy for Christmas this year and wow! I actually did it! It is so much easier. And way cheaper than these new Rusk Curling Wands I hear so much about! The best thing is when the curls start to fall just a little, I think it looks even better. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Rings and rings
I thought the spirals were a little too tight no matter what i did. It did not look 'natural'. It did get hot enough, which i did like. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful
