    PAINFUL ACNE

I got three different cover fx powders since I found out my regular foundation (Chanel) had paraben in it. I do not see the point of making a product free of oils, fragrances and paraben when you are putting coconut acid in it...it ruins the powder AND your skin. It's called caprylyl glycol I think and it causes BIG PAINFUL acne especially on someone with acne prone skin. It's pretty much the same...read more as Mac powders... I am so disappointed, because most of the ingredients were nice and I was expecting it to be the one I'd use for years. Instead it turned my face into a pizza on my engagement day. I just wish they read this comment and upgrade the formula. — 2 years, 10 months ago

    flawless complexion

this for me beats MAC studio fix a 100 %,it gives approximately same coverage ,but better cos my skin can breath underneath it, stays put as long as prime your face beforehand, and doesnt have that caked on effect as the day goes by, it has this 'au naturel ' look and feel.A major plus is i dont have that oil seperation that comes up on my t zone by half day after using studio fix, I love it so mu...read morech i use it everyday day , which i avoided with previous foundations to avoid breakouts, but so far , my skin is getting better underneath the makeup & thats what I love about it the most. — 3 years, 6 months ago

would buy over and over again

I have really oily, acne prone skin with scars and all. I am 30 and now have to worry about wrinkles and dry patches of skin. This powder is great for covering up scars and redness. It stays on throughout the day, and does not make me breakout at all. The coverage is matte and you can build it to be medium or full. I finally found the powder I am looking for. If you want less coverage, this may no...read moret be for you. But if you want fuller, matte coverage that keeps oil at baym then you want to try this powder. — 4 years, 8 months ago

    Ok, but rubs off

I went to Sephora and told them that I wanted a full coverage foundation that could cover my freckles. The women who work there recommended using Cover FX Water based foundation and then using this powder on top to set it. While this does offer really good coverage, I really had to cake it on to get my freckles fully covered. I also found that it was a bit too orange-y for my skin tone. Ultimately...read more, I decided that this was not the foundation for me because it just came off on everything - my collars, my cell phone, anything my face touched. I did try applying less to see if that would help, and I even tried the powder by itself, but still it rubbed onto everything. It is just too hard to wash from my collars and scarves to be worth it for me. — 3 years ago

Excellent coverage for redness and blotchy pigmentation

I don't normally wear foundation but when my dermatologist prescribed Tazorac for my face, it caused a lot of peeling and blotchy redness. I went to my local Sephora and the saleswoman suggested I try the Cover FX Mineral Powder Foundation in M60 for my condition. All I can say is wow, what great coverage! I use a powder brush to apply the product and all it takes is one swipe and all the redne...read moress is gone. The big plus is my face doesn't look caked up or otherwise overdone. It just makes it look like I have perfect, flawless complexion. If worn by itself, it lasts about half a day. If worn on top of sunscreen or foundation primer, it lasts all day. It's non oily, non shiny and non greasy. I wear this product over my Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Sunscreen and it doesn't budge. Very light and easy to blend and has a matte finish. My face doesn't feel like it's suffocating under heavy makeup. What I really like about it is I can take a concealer brush and apply the powder just on my problem areas and it virtually erases the imperfection. Perfect for people with blotchy pigmentation or a lot of redness! I will definitely repurchase again. — 5 years, 11 months ago

Great makeup for acne prone skin

I am a 35 year old with oily, acne prone skin. This make up is the best mineral makeup I have found. I work 12 hr shifts and by the end of the night, most makeup I have tried feels heavy on my skin and my face looks greasy - not with this foundation. The only complaint I have is the compact does not seem to last very long. — 3 years ago
