Great for Rosacea

My dermatologist recommended this for my mild rosacea. At first I thought it was going to feel to thick and make my skin oily, but I guess my skin just adapted. I only use a light serum instead of a regular moisturizer under this though, because it is moisturizing. It does leave a slight white cast to your skin, but I just apply my concealer and powder over top and it looks fine. It is a little pricey, but one tube has lasted me about a year.

Way too thick and greasy!

I use lots of Skinceuticals products and am a big fan, but this one is a dud. It goes on thick and white, and "dries"(well never really does) to a heavy greasy mask. I would not dream of wearing makeup over it. I think it does provide good sun protection, but I got so hot wearing it because my skin could't breathe that I was sweaty and red-faced. I think I'd rather be sunburned!

Returned after two uses

I usually like SkinCeuticals products, but this was a disappointement. I bought this because of the physical blocks that don't break down in sunlight and its moisturizing properties, but the cream was so thick that it was extremely difficult to spread and blend. The greasy appearance also never really went away even after it dried, and it had a very sticky finish. I tried toning it down with powde...read morer, but it only got caught on the stickiness and looked cakey. My friend commented that I looked very dry along my jawline, but it was because the cream didn't blend well and had dried that way.

Excellent product

I use this in place of my moisturizer every morning (apply my foundation on top) and I love it! I have had a few pre-cancerous spots removed from my chest and I am very careful now to protect my skin from further damage. I will reapply the sunscreen to my nose and other areas of my face if I am in the sun for long periods of time.

GREASY!

I've used a few skinceutical products my facialist from a spa a regularly attend has suggested. This was the latest thing i've tried and it is a massive NO WAY.... well i do live in florida but if I live in ALASKA this would be good. Way to greasy and leaves a chalky tint on the skin. The greasyness got worse with time. I figured my skin would absorb it but i looked like a rubbed CRISCO on my face.... Very Upsetting from such a prestigious line.

This is an awesome product. The only thing is that although it says moisturizing the zinc actually makes your skin feel dry so make sure to put on moisturizer!
