    Review subject

This was the first liquid foundation I've tried (I'm more of a mineral foundation wearer) and I am quite impressed. This foundation blends beautifully. It covers great without looking cakey or fake. I was surprised how well it covered my scars and other problem areas. I feel the color range is pretty giving from the other liquid foundations I've seen. I feel there is a good range for many skin ton...read morees. I was actually able to find two shades that can work out with my medium tan skin tone. I was also surprised how light this foundation felt on, I did not feel like I was wearing a mask. Definitely one of my go-to products.

    Love it!

I'm not the type who switch easily when it comes to foundation. I think one of the important keys to a lasting makeup is a good foundation. After mush self-deliberation, I decided to try MUFE Velvet + based on the following product claims: * Shine-control, oil free, water resistant, complete coverage * Hides imperfections, matt, powder finish * Non-comedogenic * Size: 1.01 oz I h...read moreave been using this product for over a month now and my experience is detailed below: * I used a face primer prior to applying face foundation. This is to create a flawless canvass for makeup application. It also helps lock the foundation for hours (More on face primer, click here). Combined with this process, I observed that my makeup did last more than 8 hours. * It did not totally control surface shine but it was not as horrible as you think. At about five hours later, I noticed minor shine issues. With a travel-size kabuki brush, I gently brushed my face and the oil was gone again. * A little squirt goes a long way so this size will last several months. Using the back of my palm as palette, I used a powder brush to apply this foundation. (want an airbrush finish make-up? use face/powder/stipple brush instead of sponge or foundation brush. More tips on a separate blog). * To help seal the foundation, I used Make Up Forever HD loose powder, a complimentary travel/sample size given to me by Sephora (one of the perks as a Beauty Insider from Sephora) * With a little technique, it camouflaged pimple marks/ blemishes * Oh, I did not experience breakouts, which I so love!

    Beautiful again

This foundation has made my skin beautiful again. Coverage is great. I have discoloration from sun worship and this foundation evens my color out wonderfully. Great for combination skin.

    Great matte foundation.

It looks natural and stays on for hours. It also comes in a decent range of colors.

    Love it!

This foundation rocks! It helps control oil and provides good coverage. It's a bit pricey and especially when it is full it comes out of the bottle pretty fast but other than that it's great!

    Great foundation for Combination complexions!

I've always had a problem with foundations and my oily T zone and drier cheeks. Most foundations either looked too heavy or didn't last at all. Also , it seems many makeup lines seem to have foundation colors that don't exist in nature. I found a PERFECT match with the Mat Velvet+. It also never looks caked on but it covers wonderfully, stays on my T-zone all day !!! With this foundation I've even stopped having to use face powder! :)

The best kept secret to my flawless skin!

I have normal - oily skin and have slightly uneven skin tones. I wanted to foundation that would not be too heavy, that would even out my skin tones and keep my face from getting oily without drying it out. Make Up For Ever's Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation has becoming my secret weapon to flawless skin. I love it!!!

    Good coverage

I really like this foundation, a little goes a long way and its good for my oily skin. I was color matched at Sephora and I thought the color was a little light but it does darken a short while after its applied, not sure why my skin would do that but other than that its a great foundation.

    Finally found it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this product for my acne-prone, oily skin it is perfect. It was really hard to find something that really matches my dark skin color, until I read some reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. I love how it gives you a full coverage to hide your imperfections, like if you have dark marks, and uneven skin tone. But it won't cover your bumps but will make your skin look so smo...read moreoth that you wouldn't really care. Also I didn't even have to blot my face with my make up for ever matte loose powder for a long time.

    pretty good

I like this foundation, but it's a bit hard to spread over skin, even with a primer and moisturizer. Definitely make sure you exfoliate before putting this on! Other than that, it photographs extremely well. I only wish that there was a greater color selection since I am exactly between two shades.
