As a lifelong sufferer of eczema and various skin allergies, finding beauty products that are usable AND fun to wear is a challenge. Bare Escentuals Glee all-over face color is the first product that I have found I can use all over my face and it doesn't cause skin irritation/redness/breakouts. I love the subtle glow that glee is able to produce, and I do not worry about embarrassing red skin or breakouts from wearing it. The entire line has been wonderful to try and I love it. I am definitely a bare minerals girl, and this has to be the product I use most. Even if I don't wear my foundation, I will dust a little over my face for a sun kissed look. great for blush and eye shadow, this is my secret natural not made up look, but very polished. I will add a little darker shade of eye shadow at night to go on the town, and this alone gives me a great look, my friends say I always look sun kissed. I love Bare Minerals! It not only covers perfectly but goes on so fast and easy, my time spent putting on make up has been cut in half! No longer to I have to put on concealer, then a liquid foundation, then a powder to set it and mute the shine. With one fast swirl of the brush and a tap, you just put the powder on moving the brush in a circular motion and voila! Finished!
It leaves my skin with a natural healthy look and without clogging my pores.

I tried this product with great hopes. I have rosacea, and it's sometimes a challenge to conceal. I liked that this was advertised as only needing to use a little bit to cover - so NOT true. As other reviewers mentioned, it's quite messy to use and you have to use a brush and dip it only into the cap. But concealing properties weren't very high, and while the product applied well enough, a couple hours later it seemed to just GO AWAY. I quit using it after about a week of trying really hard to make it work. May 21, 2008, 10:02 am

This is truly the best "makeup" I have tried. And I have tried several of the "mineral" powder face colors! None of them come close to BareMinerals! It goes on easily, and makes your face feel silky. It has great coverage, but it doesn't even look like you are wearing makeup. I've tried the cheaper versions from the discount stores, and they just are not the same. It's worth it to spend a little more and get BareMinerals. And it lasts longer since you use less, (than you would with the discount store brands) May 5, 2008, 2:19 pm

Although this provides full coverage, I've tried several shades and find that most are too yellow for most Caucasians. I love how it is SPF 15, though, so I use just a little bit of it for shine control over my foundation. Sometimes, for more full powder-coverage, I mix it in with a non-glittery bronzer to have more of a natural glow. If you are going to buy this, have someone at Sephora help you for a little while to find the exact color, because there are many shades and you don't want to look sick or pasty all the time. I am in love with bare minerals bronzers. I have warmth and their new bronzer- (faux tan)-which is darker. These are great because you dont need alot to give you a very natural tanned look. Which, i found that these bronzers look the most natural out of all the products I've used. You can sleep with these bronzers on and they will not clog your pores,they are actually good for your skin. A little on the pricey side,but they last for a good while and instead of going tanning and ruining your skin here is a great substitute!(The only reason why i gave it a 9 is because it's a bit messy and cost $20.) I have to admit, I never found a liquid foundation that I loved. A friend gave me Fairly Light because it came in a kit but was too light for her. I tried it and really liked the results. It has a light, buildable finish. If used too heavily though the face tends to get greasy and have a pearly appearance. Sometimes I get tired of the formula and try a liquid foundation but I always come back. It is really a quick application with an even color (no worrying about lines on your chin). Its safe for sensitive skin as well. I wish that BE made a more matte formula though, thats my one complaint. December 27, 2007, 10:31 am

Pure Radiance is a glowy, light-to-medium peachy brown, sheer powder that I apply over my foundation, sometimes before Mineral Veil and sometimes after. I apply it like a bronzer b/c I'm pale (Fairly Light in BM foundation): in a "3" figure on both sides of my face; sometimes, I dilute Warmth with this. I also sometimes use it as a blush color and when I'm lazy, I apply it like a bronzer as usual and use a heavier hand to also apply it as a blush. Adds a little bit of radiance and can add a lot of color, so use this lightly. It has a lot more color than Clear Radiance. May 26, 2008, 1:28 am

I've been using Bare Escentuals for 3 years now and I often stop using it after six months and then go back after another six months.
Pros: Super great coverage and fairly light weight. Probably the best NATURAL coverage you can get in a foundation. Also, you don't have to stock up every other month. A 0.3 oz container of this stuff usually lasts about 4-5 months.
Cons: Don't believe the "so light you can sleep in it" hype. NOT TRUE!!! I have acne-prone skin and I have definitely flared up since using Bare Escentuals.
Also, my skin feels tight after I apply the product, even though I have a super great moisturizer.
Advice: If you have acne-prone skin like me, don't "buffer" the product into the skin too vigorously. It has irritated my skin and since I've used a gentler process I've noticed improvements. February 16, 2008, 12:15 pm
