Heavy duty!
I do make up and sell it, and I can't tell you how many people I have come in asking me how to conceal tattoos. This is one of my FAVORITE concealers because it is EXTREMELY pigmented and long-wearing. It also looks incredibly natural and is easy to blend. A little goes a VERY long way with this, so a little tube will last you forever. There are a lot of full-coverage concealers in the market, and what is supposed to be a good thing often tends to be a bad thing for most people. What I mean is that in ALL makeup, the more pigment a product has, the more drying it can be for people. Therefore, since full-coverage concealers have the MOST pigment, they can be the most drying. However, this is not the case with this one. This gives a natural finish that blends with your skin well (as opposed to a matte finish which often looks extremely cakey) Also, I've noticed that this line of concealers blend better with most skin types than others, so you're more than likely to find a perfect shade with the Stila concealer than anything else. This concealer will cover EVERYTHING and is very easy to build for more coverage. Great concealer for eyes
This concealer is amazing when used around the eye area for circles or darkness at inner and outer corners. I was very pleased with how well it blended and looked natural. A light patting of powder insures it will stay in place all day and still look great. Do test the concealer in natural light to make sure you buy the right shade. A non-matching shade never looks good no matter how fantastic the product is. Only a little is needed for minor eye circles or darkness. For more coverage with darker circles I suggest using concealer brush to apply and your finger to lightly tap the concealer in place. Excellent product
I have been using this concealer for the last 3 years and it really is an excellent product. I mainly use it to conceal redness around my nose and the occasional blemish. It is very highly pigmented so a little goes a long way, 1 tube lasted me 2 years! When I first started using this I had a hard time stopping it from looking cakey, but I soon realised that I only needed the smallest amount for the product to conceal effectively. If using it to conceal dark circles I make sure to use an eye cream underneath otherwise it can be a little drying to the eye area, everywhere else I find it is smooth and creamy and I use the warmth of my fingers to help blend into my skin. Great stuff!!
This concealer is by far the best I have ever used. It has a great creamy consistency and offers complete coverage. Also, it's very hard to find a concealer that is great for both under eye and blemishes. This is really one that does it all. Stila's eyeshadows aren't my only go-to products of hers...
I normally don't pick up my concealer from pricey beauty supplies, but I had a gift card to Planet Beauty. So, "what the heck," I thought, "More than $25 for under-eye concealer? Why not?" I'm a HUGE fan of Stila eyeshadows, so I decided to give this spin in my routine. This product delivers in thickness and coverage, and I was happy to find my dark circles drastically diminished after applying this. I do, however, recommend making sure you have a base of moisturizer before going to work with this. Otherwise, it might look a bit cakey. I also like applying this to my upper lids to really brighten up my eyes. As a college student, I've had my fair share of nights spent studying last-minute for exams or finishing up terms papers I should have completed well before the due-date. Like, not love
I don't know if this is as great as some readers say. I guess I'm just not a believer in concealer overall, no matter what you do, that bump on your face is still going to be prominent, I wanted more for the price I guess, as I always do. The bottle is well designed though, and the shade range is great.
