Terrific value
I bought this mainly for the eyeshadows, and this is well worth the price for the eyshadows alone! The top level of the palette contains a beautiful selection of mostly shimmery, neutral eyeshadows (nothing dark or dramatic) containing purples, browns, golds, beiges, blues, silver/greys, a pink, a khaki green, and a peach. They apply and wear well. The second level contains glosses in a nice variety of reds, berries, nudes, golds, peaches, and pinks. About half are frosty/sparkly. They are thick but not sticky, and the staying power is decent. They have a bit of a plastic-y scent and taste. I have mixed feelings about the third level. The cheekstains are gorgeous and work well as lip stains too. You get a reddish-pink, a peachy-pink, a berry-pink and a plum. I wish the cheekstains were larger and they'd passed on the eyeshadow primer (doesn't work for me) and luminizer (too yellow-toned and sparkly). The gel-liners are nice and apply well with the included eyeliner brush. You get a basic black, deep purple, shimmery aubergine, and shimmery bright green. The lipsheers apply and wear like a traditional lipstick. There is a pinky-brown and 2 darker berries. The eyeliner brush is pretty good, the shadow brush is okay (if a little stiff), and the dual-ended lip brush and foam-tipped eyeshadow applicators are tiny and I never use them. GET THIS!
This kit is incredible! The colors are completely wearable for almost any skintone and the package is adorable. What you might not be able to tell is that the shadows are full sized. This is a great value and easily the first thing I reach for in the morning when I put on my makeup. The ONLY complaint I have is that there is nothing in or on the packaging that tells you the names of the individual colors. I'd like to know what my faves are so that I can buy more of them when I run out.
