Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hairsetter with Ceramic Reviews

A Little Bit of Curl, No Special Shine
katiehammerman (50 reviews)For years and years I have used the Caruso Molecular Hairsetter to add volume, curl or waves to my baby-fine hair. Every couple of years or so, I decide to try out other hot rollers or curling irons and last year, I decided to give Conair's Ion Shine Instant Heat Hairsetter a try. It did effectively curl my hair, but I didn't see any extra shine. I also didn't feel like the curl was locked in as long as I would like, and the more traditional structure (solid core versus the foam core of the Caruso curlers) and single size of the rollers didn't allow for as much versatility (wrapping the hair tighter or looser, etc.) as I would prefer. I ended up giving the set away. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I really like these rollers
tac1970 (35 reviews)I have two different sets of hot rollers from conair, this being one of them, and I really like them. I do notice my hair being more shiny when I use these. The velvety coating helps create a more gentle curling environment, they heat up and maintain heat well, but the roller "pins" of this type leave a LOT to be desired when it comes to keeping the rollers in my hair. My solution to this is to use roller clamps instead, which works out beautifully. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Pretty Good
denisemarie1969 (20 reviews)I like the protective layer on the rollers that make it less damaging than many other hot rollers. I have hard to curl hair & it does a good job. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
