A Holy Grail product.
I own many Smudge Pots: -the trio of minis in Gray, Black and Bronze -Cobalt (a darker blue, not quite navy, with a sheen) -Cobalt Clutch (a vibrant primary blue with shimmer) -Jade (a lovely olivey green with a sheen) I use my Ecotools angled eyeliner brush with these, and they work great. PROS: Great creamy texture (not too firm or not soft). Very highly pigmented (although Cobalt Clutch and Purple Pumps are less so). Lasts all day without flaking or smudging, even on my lower lash line AND on my waterline! Can be used to make precise lines or can be smudged out when still "wet." Sturdy packaging. Gorgeous colors. CONS: A bit expensive. More product than you can use before it dries up. (Although none of mine have dried out at all, and I've had the minis for almost a year! Even if I use up only half of the product, it'll have been worth the $20 for this product--you get more product and applications than you would for some $20 eye pencil, and I have yet to find a pencil or any other liner product that I love as much as these, besides MAC Fluidlines!) Overall, these are HG products for me. I absolutely love the pigmentation, the texture, the lasting power, and the colors. extremely long lasting
this gel liner is amazing! it glides on smoothly and after you let it dry for a few seconds, the gel liner is locked in place. it doesn't smear or smudge unless you touch your face. also, if i dont wear a primer on my eyelids, i dont have to worry about creasing. this saves me time in case i just want to do a casual winged out liner and not an extravagant look. i also use this on my waterline with no problems. i love the wide color selection. this is seriously the only liner i will ever use! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

does what it says
These aren't tricky, but you have to really seal the jar or they dry out fast. The texture is good in the beginning but the life isn't long of this pot. Lasts until you're sick of it!
This liner lasts and lasts and lasts. I never leave the house without liner and I bought this back in December 2007, it's mid-July 2008 and I still have a (mostly) full pot! I get unwanted smudges when I line my lower lid because I have an oilier complexion, but nothing powder can't fix. It'll stay good practically forever if you keep the lid on TIGHT. Love Love Love this product
I was previously using Revelon Color stay eyeliner which was one of the better non-liquid liners that I used that smeared less. However I got tired of the liner still ending up in my contact lens. Eventually I got fed up one day and a friend suggested that I try this product as a liner. I love it as a liner. I wouldn't suggest wearing it as a shadow as it is very dark. It was easy to apply and lasts all day long without smearing. I will definately be purchasing this product again in the future. Dry and difficult to apply
I really like Stila's products but this one did not live up to my expectations. I like how the gel liner is "smudgeable" but it had a drier consistency, which made it a little difficult to apply. Love it.
Great!! I purchased one in "starry night." It is a very purple bit I love it! I never used it as a shadow and I would like to try it!! The only downside of this product is drying. I can deal with the price bc there is a lot in the pot. I never used it as a shadow. I have always wore it as a liner but I think it would work great as a shadow too. It is a long wear liner bit it does melt down at the end of the day. Now the color starry night is hard to find I think but I really want to try the creamy beige color as a shadow. Great Alternative to Liquid Liner
I use the starry night and 24K Black smudge pots as alternatives to liquid liner. They are more accident-proof than liquid liner. Love the Pots
I purchased a pack of 3 of these pots a couple of years ago and I am still using them today. Mine have not dried out or gotten cakey. I love these. I use the black for nights out, brown for every day and there was a fun steel blue color that I use every now and then. It's great for a nice "done" eyeline or smudged and smokey.
