Not worth the money

This is fine but Revlon's quad in coffee bean has the same colors and costs 1/5 what this does. I expected more.

This palette works fine. There are two sparkly shades and one shimmery shade and one matte shade. The colors go on smooth but kinda sheer so you must layer on the darker colors.

This product is smokin'!

I bought the original Smokey Eye Pallete in Las Vegas last year. I immediately fell in love with it. It is so versital. I can use the lighter colors for day, then apply the darker liners when I go out in the evening. The colors are awesome and I definitely plan on purchasing a few more.

Great palette

The palette is a really cute concept. You press a button and it guides you through a smoky eye (it just tells you what colors go where). I love all the colors, and they really do work great for a smoky eye.

cute concept

I was given 'the grays' and I'm very glad I was. I don't have any great desire for a smoky-eye look, and I already knew how to do it if I did want to, but it's still a very nice tool. I use the black as a liner regularly and the dark brown shade matches my eyebrows *perfectly!* Otherwise I don't have much use for it (I'm not into sparkly shadows) but I'm sure it's great for some people, especially younger girls just beginning to learn about make-up.

Makes smoky eye easy

I have this in "The Grays" and it is great. I can definitely see myself using all the shadows in different combinations for different looks. The recorded instructions go a bit too fast for me, so I follow the instructions that were included with the package. My friends really liked the looks that I've done so far, and I think that this kit is a pretty good buy rather than spending on sep...read morearate products. Potential buyers should be aware, however, that no brushes are included and the instructions tell you at the end to use kohl liner and mascara, which are also not included. So in a sense the kit is not entirely complete.

Wow!

I bought this palette in the 'bronzes'. You can create a beautiful smoky eye look. But the colors are great for all sorts of applications! One or two colors work great for a work-look, shopping-look, or dinner out with the inlaws!
