I don't know what all the fuss is about this product. I have shoulder length naturally curly hair and this balm did nothing for me. I thought it was thick and sticky. It did nothing to reduce frizz. This product is great for frizzy hair. I have fine, frizzy hair, and a small amount of this product mixed with Phyto 9 leave-in conditioner really help me keep frizz at bay. I put a small amount of both in wet hair, and blow dry. I love this stuff. I have very curly hair, medium length which is thick, but fine. So I have a lot of hair! However, this stuff really helps control the frizz when I straighten via blowouts or flat iron. Its not greasy or heavy either. I follow the directions that are listed on the tube. I also believe it helps keep my hair healthy because of the natural products it is made out of. I recently gave up silicones and am still searching for great styling products. I have thick, dry, wavy/curly hair. Phyto gives me soft waves but not enough frizz control.
