What makes this alcohol-free gel stand out above the rest is the fact that crunchy stiffness (which can be a problem with strong-hold gels) is blissfully absent. Expect to get plenty of shine along with a crisp, flowery scent, but don't expect to get "defined, bouncy ringlets" without setting hair in pin curls (unless you're naturally endowed with tight, thick curls). It takes quite a bit of product to get good definition on naturally wavy hair but luckily, the price is low.

      Nice curls

      I use this for a quick pony tail curl. When im not trying to put product in all of my hair I just use a little of this gel and it holds all day. It does give the hard look so if that isnt what your looking for then dont use June 3, 2008, 10:16 am

      Great product, even better price

      I also use this product daily. After using a very expensive salon product I found this to be as good and about 1/5th the price. It's also readily available. I found that this, as well as other products, work best when you have soft water. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants bouncy curls and no frizz. December 25, 2007, 5:58 pm

      I use this product every single day and I LOVE IT... The scent is wonderful and it's not a sticky gel and it doesn't leave your hair crunchy like other gels can. I recommend this to everyone with thick curly hair !!! November 16, 2007, 7:41 am

      • To create defined, natural curls that bounce (and we mean bounce!), coat damp hair with this curl-enhancing gel.   Its humidity-resistance formula controls frizz for healthy-looking styles (minus crunchiness).   Plus, its alcohol-free formula won't dry out or flatten the hair.   Its holding polymers lock curls into place for the tight curls you crave, while its proteins hydrate and tame flyaways.

      • Squeeze your desired amount into the palm of your hand and emulsify to activate the ingredients. 2 Comb through damp hair from roots to ends with a wide-tooth comb to fully saturate the hair. 3 Then, scrunch curls into place, shaping and molding curls' tightness and definition. 4 Anytime you use a gel, blow-dry upside down with a diffuser (if not, your hair will dry crispy) until hair's 90 percent dry. Then, let air-dry. The diffuser lets you lift hair for a shorter curl formation (translation: bouncier curls). 5 To mold gorgeous finger waves, twist in gel piece by piece. 6 For added definition, finish with TRESemmé Curl Care Locking Hairspray.
