Not bad!
You already know how important it is to use some kind of thermal protection when working with heat on your hair. Although this mousse works with heat to greatly volumize your hair, it's not going to provide adequate thermal protection--so make sure to supplement it with a thermal protecting product after you apply this mousse and before you blow dry. Also, make sure your hair is completely dry before using hot tools because you don't want to seer and fry your hair! Enough said, this does what it claims and gives you remarkable volume as opposed to blow drying your hair upside down without using anything. This made my hair feel soft too! I have very thick and coarse hair which makes it prone to frizz, but this gives me some kind of smoothing and minimizes my frizz. The thing I didn't like was that this mousse is a little on the thicker side, not nearly as light and fluffy as other mousse brands I'm used to. So I do have to spray a bit more onto my hand to work into my longer hair which means I'll be finished with the can sooner than the mousse I typically use. Also, since it was thicker, I noticed that it made my fringe a little limp sooner than normally--so it felt weighed down like it had too much hair product. So do be careful to concentrate this more on other parts of your hair rather than any fringe or bangs. Even though the price is nice, as I said earlier, the can is likely to run out faster as opposed to paying a little more for something that's going to last a bit longer--so keep in mind so see if you really are making a good investment. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great product! And an even better bargain...
LOVE this product. Before this, I was using Got 2 B's Mousse (After Party I think). Tresemme is SO much better! It has a nice, clean smell and is not nearly as sticky as the other mousse. The other mousse left my hair in a rats nest no matter how little I used, plus it smelled bad. This one, I just use 2 large poufs and I get great volume; doesn't even matter what brush I use or whether I use velcro rollers or not. Maybe it's because I have long, heavy, thick hair (halfway down my back), that I didn't see too much of a lift in volume when volume or style hold when using this product. It smells nice enough, isn't stiff or sticky, or leave any kind of flaky residue. But all in all, after a few hours my hair just felt a little bit dirtier than it would normally, and I wash and blow out everyday. Returning after ONE application
Thank goodness my local WM accepts returns on beauty products cuz this is awful. I wear my hair straight quite often. I was looking to combine two steps into one, mousse and thermal protection. After just ONE application, my hair felt dried out and stiff like straw. I would have washed it out but we were on our way out. I didnt notice any volume, not that I cared after my hair felt like wheat. I've never had good luck with this brand. I wish it lasted longer.
I really liked this mousse after I blow dried my hair, but when I got home after 10 hours, my hair was flatter than it would be with just blow drying. I have had this problem with other high-rated mousses, although this one lasted a couple hours longer, I believe, so I feel like it might just be my hair... On a positive note, it's quite cheap and did not make my hair sticky or gummy feeling. That's a major plus for me. Great heat protector!!
TRESemme always has some great styling products, and for such amazing products! I always use their hairsprays, and so have pretty much all my female family members, even my abuelita! I had been looking for something that I can use that will protect my hair from the heat of my blowdryer, but also help maintain frizz and give my hair volume. This product absolutely WORKS!! My fine/medium thickness hair feels so much thicker and healthier after using this mousse. It doesn't leave my hair feeling stringy or flat! Tresseme Mousse
I tried this product and get a crunchiness to my hair. I like a softer feel. I used only one pouf. I don't know I guess I have to stick to a spray thickener like Paul Mitchell. So soft!
I purchased this a few days ago because I ran out of my favorite root lifter. I had just been to the salon a few weeks ago for a cut and color and my stylist told me I needed to use more heat protectants because my hair was getting a lot a breakage from heat damage. I applied to my roots and brushed it through my hair just like the bottle says, and boy did it make a difference! After blow drying, my hair was soft and full of life!
