    Best gel

I have long, thick, naturally curly hair. My biggest issue was it getting poofy. One day while talking about it with the girl who does my hair, she gave me some of this to try. I love it. It defines my curls, controls frizz, and makes my hair shine (not greasy). It does not smell great in the bottle (smells kind of like polish or glue) but it goes away as soon as you put it in your hair. It cost...read mores about $18, which is not bad...but I often find it on sale at Walgreens (sometimes for as little as $2).

A dollop goes a long way. One of the best hair products I've ever used.

The only hair product you will ever need!

Ok, I am sharing my big secret! I will not say this about any hair or make-up product I use except for this item. I have tried countless hair gels and I always come back to this one. The gel is concentrated and so you only need a small amount (depends on your texture and hair length). I have long thick hair: I dab about a quarter size on my palm, rub my hands together and then rub/place through ...read moremy hair (stay aways from hair roots) and focus evenly down through the ends. Curly: Once it is all in my hair, I brush it straights and set the part. If I want my hair curly, I take sections, twist and let air dry. Straight: If I want it straight, I blow dry on high heat just using my fingers. Once the hair feel more air-dry, I take sections and brush straight while using the hair dry, still on high heat. You have to work each section from the root to the ends. Once you are finished, I take a very small amount of the same gel, dab on the palm of my hands and rub through my now dry, straight hair. This will elimate any fly-aways. From here you can continue to style, such as a curling iron for straighter or big-long curls. Good luck!
