love the colors, hate the product

Nice colors, but they don't last.

Messy and sad face
Loved the way the product looked, but when I went to apply on my eyelid the color was washed out. In the set it looked like a solid 10 of a color, when placed on the skin the color dead droped to 3. Ok if you're a 7th grader!
So, the phrase, "You get what you pay for" is what rings true in this case and for most cases, in my opinion. While the colors may look good in the package? It's cheap cost is for a reason. According to Quad
Quality does differ in the quads. I have drama eyes and tropical and love them. I then purchased the purple set. Can't remember the name because I took it back. 2 in the quad was so so, the darkest shade was wonderful and one wouldn't swatch at all, like it was fake barbie shadow. well it really doesn't work as well as it should! The colors don't show up on me and I am very fair skinned so, I don't think the pigmentation is good enough in it! These are the best!
For a drug store brand these are the best as far as staying on, color selection,and price! I have used Mabeline since I was a teanager (53 now). I still have in my make up box and yes still go to this eyeshadow 4 piece as they all work with each color in same pallette! ooops oh well
