Made skin dry and flaky

Cleanser Additives Unfriendly
This product is a cream cleanser that can be lathered in the hands and applied on the face. Now, while this washes away makeup, I found it to be very irritating. It's very strong in fragrance content and found that it increases sensitivity to the sun because of properties that I won't go into detail of but because this is supposed to be exfoliating and doesn't have "scrubbers" it means that there may be types of acids in it that will deliver irritants to the skin. I'd recommend a more gentle cleanser, especially if you are using the other white lucent line products just to lessen any irritation a bit that may be contributed from this cleanser and I do find that it can be drying, especially if you leave it on too long, your skin perhaps may not like it. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 7 people said helpful

Doesn't work if use long term
i have been using shiseido products for two years. This cleasing foam really works great at first year.. but i don't feel it works as well as before after continuosly using it. Love it!
I have had amazing results with this cleanser, especially when used with my Clarisonic. The foaming action is great! I use HALF a pea size for my face and it lathers up so much! The smell is very subtle. Before I was using Cliniques face cleanser with my Clarisonic, but I see much better results with this cleanser as far as making my skin more of an even tone, and brighter. It gives my face a very satisfying clean feeling, but doesn't leave it feeling too "tight". It also takes my make up off very well. The only cleanser I would ever use!!!
This cleanser is so amazing. You need the smallest amount for your whole face. After you cleansed, your skin looks a lot brighter and clean. The whole bottle would last you from 5 to 6 months. Loving This Cleanser

clean fresh skin
I love this cleanser! It smells great, lathers into a rich foam that washes away easily. No film or residue left on skin. The skin is left feeling soft, smooth, and smelling fabulous! My skin feels so clean and not all dried out like other cleansers. It is great used before applying the White Lucent Skin softener and daily skin moisturizer. Love it!
I love this product, it has a nice luxurious smell to it, i love how soft it feels on my face and removes all the makeup i wear. i usually wear it in the mornings when i wake up and before i go to bed. it does not irritate my skin. the foam it builds was very different from most that i have tried and it felt really good, it was kinda thick (in a good way), but when you put water it comes off quick and easy which i liked. Foam?
More like creamy face wash. It leaves my face squeeky clean but my face feels like it's tighten after each use. Somewhat irritates and dries my skin.
