Sometimes work
I find these strips work best in small areas - like for the eyebrows, chin, and lip. I have tried them several times for the bikini area and the wax just isn't strong enough to pull all the hairs out on the big strip - and I have average thickness hair. It does leave a bit of residue and is difficult to go over the same area twice. These are totally non-messy and do not irritate skin. Not for my eyebrows
These wax strips are convenient and easy to use (no need to microwave), and remove some fine facial hairs fairly good (but still painful). Easy, quick, and yes a bit of ouch.
Waxing hurts, it's a fact. So be prepared no matter what waxing product you use. Be prepared for redness/sensitivity and possible bumps (ingrown hairs or irritated open follicles). I love that it's so easy, just warm in your hands, open and apply. I've never had my face done professionally so i can't say it's better, but this gets the job done, quickly and with no mess. The oil soothes and removes any wax that may stick to your skin. OWWWW!!!!!

Not recomended!!!!
I have light colored facial hair, but I still need to get it off of my face. I tried these strips rather than using a heated was. It did remove a majority of the hair, and my skin felt fine that day. the next day however, areas where I had used the strips on my face felt rough and scaly--the skin was so completely dry that I could not wear makeup at all. Convenient but not as good as a hot wax
These strips should be used on clean, dry skin. It also helps to lightly dust the hairs with baby powder or corn starch and to make sure you rub the strips so that they warm up before applying.. That being said I found them to be quite harsh on my skin (well at least more than a regular hot wax) and more likely to leave a red mark behind. The pluses are they are quite convenient and can be used very quickly. I usually keep some form of wax strips for times that I notice a patch of hair that may have been missed during a hot wax or if a random patch of hair grows faster than the rest. It is nice to be able to zap it within seconds without microwaving anything. These are pre-cut but if you want to do brows, you'll probably have to trim them down some more. Weird-shaped strips but worked pretty well!
My first impression was that the strips were really weirdly shaped, especially the eyebrow and bikini ones, I couldn't imagine using them anywhere near my eyebrows or bikini line! This strips are really easy to use though, and they're quick and easy. I tried out the face strip first and it actually worked pretty well, it managed to pull out all my little facial hairs in one pull, but left my skin red and itchy afterwards. But there's this little bottle of Vitamin E Finishing Oil that comes in the box, which really helped to relieve the irritation. Used on upper lip and tummy. This Kit was SUPER quick and easy to use. It did leave a sticky residue that was easily removed with the oil that came with the kit. My upper lip did show some redness and bumps afterward. But that's normal for my sensitive skin. I've been to salons for waxing treatments quite a few times, but this was a lot cheaper, faster, and more convenient (with the same results). The kit comes with plenty of strips that are able to be cut with no problem or mess. I'd say this one buy will last me a few months at the least. Works but...
