Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit For Face, Brows & Bikini Reviews

Doesn't work
Bon_Bon (454 reviews)this product does not remove hair at all, and it's a waste of space. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Sometimes work
TheLacqueredLady (588 reviews)I find these strips work best in small areas - like for the eyebrows, chin, and lip. I have tried them several times for the bikini area and the wax just isn't strong enough to pull all the hairs out on the big strip - and I have average thickness hair. It does leave a bit of residue and is difficult to go over the same area twice. These are totally non-messy and do not irritate skin. They are also very easy to warm up in skin. — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for my eyebrows
luckybetty (880 reviews)These wax strips are convenient and easy to use (no need to microwave), and remove some fine facial hairs fairly good (but still painful). BUT I have one big complain - I don't understand why the strips for eyebrows are not shaped like eyebrows. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Easy, quick, and yes a bit of ouch.
luxylexi (234 reviews)Waxing hurts, it's a fact. So be prepared no matter what waxing product you use. Be prepared for redness/sensitivity and possible bumps (ingrown hairs or irritated open follicles). I love that it's so easy, just warm in your hands, open and apply. I've never had my face done professionally so i can't say it's better, but this gets the job done, quickly and with no mess. The oil soothes and removes any wax that may stick to your skin. If you're prone to break outs, make sure your skin is super clean before waxing and wah again after waxing, i even put some witch hazel on after, it's a bit drying but worth it to prevent breakouts. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

OWWWW!!!!!
Miss_Vicki (253 reviews)I tried these for my upper lip. I knew it would hurt but got more than I bargained for. It did not remove all the hair and even took off a layer of skin in some spots. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Not recomended!!!!
jenicide1 (292 reviews)I have light colored facial hair, but I still need to get it off of my face. I tried these strips rather than using a heated was. It did remove a majority of the hair, and my skin felt fine that day. the next day however, areas where I had used the strips on my face felt rough and scaly--the skin was so completely dry that I could not wear makeup at all. Would not buy again. — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Convenient but not as good as a hot wax
TwoBirds (284 reviews)These strips should be used on clean, dry skin. It also helps to lightly dust the hairs with baby powder or corn starch and to make sure you rub the strips so that they warm up before applying.. That being said I found them to be quite harsh on my skin (well at least more than a regular hot wax) and more likely to leave a red mark behind. The pluses are they are quite convenient and can be used very quickly. I usually keep some form of wax strips for times that I notice a patch of hair that may have been missed during a hot wax or if a random patch of hair grows faster than the rest. It is nice to be able to zap it within seconds without microwaving anything. These are pre-cut but if you want to do brows, you'll probably have to trim them down some more. Overall I'd recommend dealing with the mess and hassle of a hot wax over these strips. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit For Face, Brows & Bikini
dreamygurl86 (9 reviews)When I seen these in the store I was really excited to get them home to try. I was not disappointed as they work for everything! The great thing about it is that you can use it in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I mean who really wants to go to a public place to get rid of embarrassing unwanted hair? I found it to work great and took off all the hair in one use. I use it about once every couple of months is what the pattern seems to be. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Quick and almost painless
pookster (11 reviews)I hate plucking my eyebrows or using hair removal creams for my facial hair, so I decided to give this kit a try. I liked that the only heat involved was from rubbing the strip between your hands right before you apply it. I used it on both my eyebrows and upper lip and it worked pretty well. It sometimes left a few stray hairs behind, but I would rather tweeze a couple of strays than the whole area. It was a little painful, but a lot less than plucking hairs and a whole lot quicker. I also liked that it didn't leave a whole lot of waxy residue and it it did get a little sticky there was a bottle of remover that works pretty well. It did leave the waxed area a little red after waxing, but I would do it right before I went to bed and in the morning all the redness was gone. I guess the price was okay for the product. At $5.99 a box, this kit will last a long time. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
