  disappointed

  As I do love Sally Hansen products, this one disappointed me. It was very hard to get more than a few hairs at a time, maybe because I was using it in a hard area? Trying to pull against facial hair growth. I ended up using it 3 times in the same area and received basically a brush burn. :( The oil that comes with it is wo...nderful, and does help to relieve some of the discomfort. I will try again in a less conspicuous area. February 8, 2008, 6:22 am

  Convenient

  These waxing strips are much more convenient than going to a salon to get my brows done (and no need to suffer the appearance of baboon-red eyelids and forehead in public). But when the package says "pre cut" they mean that the strips are in about 2 or 3 inch rectangles. If you want to use them for your brows, y...ou're going to have to cut the strips into arches first. I also find that I sometimes have to go over the same area three or four times to get all the hair, and I don't have especially difficult hair. But it does eventually work, and I don't have to go anywhere to do it. December 7, 2007, 6:29 am

  Convenient but Terrible Aftermath

  I have dark hair, and so the fine hairs on my face are more noticeable unfortunately. So to get rid of it, I use this wax, but not without issues. It does hurt a ton and a lot of outer skin cells are pulled along with the hairs. It doesn't exactly miss many hairs, but I also notice a lot of the hair isn't pulled from the ro...ot. Also, my skin gets VERY irritated every single time. I am talking about many many little red, painful bumps and the lotion that comes along does not soothe very well... I have to keep putting it on over and over. The bumps usually last from 3 days to 1 1/2 weeks. My skin is usually not so sensitive. September 23, 2008, 5:47 pm

  Ouch! But I guess waxing hurts huh?

  Actually, the chin area, and the eyebrow area wasn't bad, it was the upper lip that got me! Yowza. These work great, but a few areas I had to wax a couple times to get all the hair off. The convenience was great though! Even my husband let me do his unibrow because he didn't have to get off the couch! November 14, 2007, 11:25 am

  I'm content with it

  Sometimes I don't pull it fast enough and the sticky stuff stays on my face even after a shower. But when I use it right, it gets the job done. My skin turns red after I use the strips but I guess that's just what happens when you wax. November 4, 2009, 2:27 pm

  wax strips

  I love these wax strips for use on my eyebrows. You just have to warm them up in your hands for a few minutes. I don't use the larger ones and wish they made just a box of eyebrow strips! much easier and less messy to use than wax you have to microwave. November 3, 2009, 2:05 pm

  Sally Hansen=Little bumps

  I purchased this product hoping that I had found an easy solution to removing hair from my upper lip and chin. Instead, I end up with tiny little bumps all over my chin and upper lip. The product does not remove all hairs after several wax strips are used. The wax does not "warm-up" after rubbing the wax strip bet...ween your hands as shown in the instructions. Also, it takes forever to remove the wax off of your skin; even after using soap and water. I do not recommend this product at all. October 29, 2009, 10:23 am

  very convenient!

  these are great, but you need to do it correctly! first off, you always need the skin to be moistured the night before. second, the day of waxing you need to apply a little baby powder, stick the strip in direction of hair growth, hold skin down and pull in opposite direction as quick as possible. never do same area twice, ...you risk pulling skin out. if you use the product correctly, it works great! i love it, because its quicker than microwavable wax.   Not recomended!!!!

  I have light colored facial hair, but I still need to get it off of my face. I tried these strips rather than using a heated was. It did remove a majority of the hair, and my skin felt fine that day. the next day however, areas where I had used the strips on my face felt rough and scaly--the skin was so completely dry th...at I could not wear makeup at all.
