Best home waxing product
by elizabethryan (30 reviews)Trusted ReviewI use this every few weeks to wax my upper lip, underarms, legs, and I even give myself Brazilian bikini with it. This is nothing like the old school waxes that you may have used in the past. There has to be something behind this "Smart Wax" claim that they make on the box because it truly feels like it's grabbing... at the hair and not ripping off your skin. I will continue to use this product, as it's very effective and reasonably priced! February 7, 2008, 4:46 pm11 of 11 people found this review helpful.

sensitive skin unharmed
by Nuvia_Ingles (3 reviews)I was a little bit sceptical using this product, just because other kits didn't work for me. I was surprised with how the wax held on to the hairs and hardly my skin. Yes it did hurt a bit, but hardly like the other products. Luckily for me, having sensitive skin and all, it didn't do harm to my skin. Loved the results!!! Actually Works as good as it claims!!
by MJLyne (19 reviews)I love this product - it priced terrific and it works better than the more expensive products on my coarse hair. Easy to use and quick clean-up. Why pay expensive salon prices if you don't have to. November 29, 2007, 11:38 am7 of 7 people found this review helpful.

It's about time!
by goldnbarbie (2 reviews)I bought this last week and it is GREAT! I waited a few days to try it and last night I decided to go for it. I opened the covering on the plastic jar and then the lid and... ughhhh!! It was a sticky mess and i couldn't disattach the jar cover from the wax inside the jar. Make sure that you store the jar sitting upright. I ...just threw the Sally Hansen box in a drawer so the wax wasn't settled and it was all over the place. I heated it for 30 secons and it smelled so yummy that I wanted to eat the stuff! It smells like cake batter and it looks like a jar of condensed milk. I hadn't tried mcrowaveable wax in years because it never pulled enough hair out to be worth the trouble and I always made a big mess. This is a creamy delicious smelling wax that I actually look forward to using. It pulled off ALL of my hair! One bad thing is that, for me at least, it doesn't come with enough cloth strips so I'm going to have to see if a Beauty Supply store sells them. I only have 4 strips left after the first use and that definitely will not be enough. I am so happy I bought this stuff! November 29, 2008, 3:18 pm5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Hair Be Gone!
by beauty_411 (2 reviews)I think I have tired every wax out there on the market! I was a beauty advisor for 6 years. This product takes the cake for me and my husband! After my husband saw such great results on me, we used it on his back! It works awesome! The hair really rips out with minimal pain and minimal wax cleanup. The hair doesn't g...row back for weeks! Highly Effective & Convenient!
by wasabiwonder (4 reviews)This wax smells great, but more importantly, it works very well. I have used it all over my body, mainly concentrating on my underarms and bikini line. I have found that it only hurts if the wax is too gummy and not hot enough. The instructions say to heat the wax for a very short period of time, but I heat it to a temperat...ure just below what would be my absolute tolerance level. Therefore, I reheat quite often if I am doing my whole body at once. The only place it doesn't work completely is my underarm. I usually have to touch up the areas it doesn't grab well with an epilator. Overall, I am very pleased with the results of this product, and cleanup is a cinch with the included azulene oil. Make sure to regularly exfoliate the areas waxed for the next few days to avoid ingrown hairs! May 1, 2009, 10:17 pm2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Amazing!
by Erin2O (12 reviews)This worked great! It was easy to use - a bit messy, but nothing that was too bad. I waxed at about 11am, my legs were red for the rest of the day, but I woke up and they were just fine! It does hurt, but not nearly as bad as the other at-home waxing kits, and it smells wonderful! Not for the faint of heart
by pinky76 (1 review)This stuff most certainly isn't wax and I'm not sure WHAT it is. It has the consistency - when "dry" of hot melted bubble gum on the sidewalk near the beach. Only it's not on the beach it's in your home. Correction: it's ALL over your home. After several attempts, I've found it works best if you prepare your home ...as if you're about to commit a terrible crime - wax paper everywhere. Also have extra latex gloves to change periodically while you're waxing since the "wax" sticks to those too. Also, buy lots extra of the azulene oil, since that is the ONLY thing that will remove the remainders from your sink, floor, clothes, rugs, whatever. And the stuff doesn't work any better than regular wax. So, is it worth it - DEFINITELY NOT. May 10, 2009, 12:50 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Manufacturer's Product Description
- The Brazilian Beauty Secret for Hard to Remove Hair! This smart wax grabs hair, not skin! Eliminates hard-to-remove hair for up to 8 weeks. Whisks away even coarse hair gently and effectively. Microwave formula. Helps reduce the appearance of hair regrowth. Salon Tested - Dermatologist Tested. Kit Includes: Extra Strength Body Wax, 8 Natural Wood Spatulas, 20 Cloth Strips, Soothing Azulene Finishing Oil and Complete Instructions in English and Spanish.
Directions
- For best results, follow instructions included in package. Extra Strength All-Over Body Wax is formulated to remove even the most stubborn unwanted hair. Follow heating instructions in package. Using the included applicator, spread a thin layer of wax onto area where hair is to be removed. Be sure to apply in the same direction to which hair grows. Next, apply a cloth strip in the same direction that you applied the wax. Stroke the strip a few times to adhere wax firmly to strip. With one hand, hold the skin taut. With the other, hold the bottom of the strip and pull away quickly in the opposite direction of how you applied it. For best removal, pull wax strip off close to the skin, rather than pulling outwards. If strip is peeled away correctly, the wax and hair will be on the strip and not on your skin! Repeat these steps until all unwanted hair is removed. Use Post Treatment Soothing Azulene (included) to soothe and care for skin, and remove traces of excess wax.
