Sally Hansen Nail Quencher Hydrating Base Coat Reviews

Not good at all
I give it 3 stars only because of the pretty bottle and because it's a ok base coat, but not at all something good. Especially annoying is the thin coat that stays on the nails after using nail polish remover. Definitely will not repurchase. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I Like..
I have weak peeling nails, that I like to keep short. This is a nice thick base coat that makes them feel stronger and gives me a nice base for my polish. I would by this product again. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not what I thought it would be
I was drawn to purchase this product by the promise of hydrated, stronger nails with less chips. It did not deliver on any of this. First of all, it goes on very thick (which, at first, I thought was why it was so hydrating) and takes a while to dry. Secondly, it does not make a manicure last longer. I actually think my nails chipped quicker with this underneath than ever. Third of all, it leaves a thick film on your nails that only comes off partly with remover. So, you're left with an uneven base for your next polish. And, last of all, my nails were left so brittle and peeling (worse than ever). The only thing hydrating about this product is the look of the bottle. — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful
