Tarte Sunburst Body Beaded Bronzing Lotion with Self Tanner

Tarte Sunburst Body sounds good in theory: Beads of bronzer give you instant color while self tanner kicks in later for long-lasting glow. Unfortunately, those little beads are tricky. They don't burst easily, and then when they do, they leave streaks across skin -- definitely not a pretty look. Tarte also claims that the dark bronze color is customizable but it doesn't specify how. (You can control how much you apply, but you can't control how many beads come out of the tube.) For a product this pricey, I expect more than a gimmick that just doesn't work well.
