The scent is strong, the gloss is super shiny with just the right amount of glitter. I wish it had some color to it though! The packaging is kind of plain, and standard for a tube gloss. It smells delicious, but doesn't really have much of a taste. A nice gloss, but I prefer a bit more color. If you just want some yummy scented clear gloss w/glitter, this is good stuff. — 1 year ago

Flavored Lip Shine

Philosophy's flavored lip shines are nice, clear glosses. These lip shines come in fabulous flavors and, no matter what color they look like in the tube, these do not deposit color. These lip shines go on a bit sticky, so control your amount, and lightly layer until you get the right amount for you. These do give my lips a nice shine, but some of the flavors tend to dry my lips out. My personal favorite is the Candy Cane Lane because the peppermint in it actually heals my dry, chapped lips and is a great overnight lip treatment. I bought this in pineapple coconut. It smells great and yummy. The scent does remind me of Pina Colada and a day at the beach. This lip gloss gives my lips a nice subtle shine. My least favorite part about this product is that the packaging is kind of plain. For $10 US though you get a great amount of product and it is very high quality. The gloss is slightly tacky but has the most amazing flavors available! My favorites so far are Pumpkin Spice & Rainbow Sorbet. I even have an xmas set of these in the mail right now and I cannot wait to receive them. The sets are totally worth it because you wind up getting four of them for $5 a pop. These are very long wearing and definitely worth the money. Every girl should try at least one of these there are so many flavors to choose from! — 1 year, 6 months ago

I have the melon daquiri and the shine is unheard of. I happen to be a girl that loves high shine gloss, so if that isn't for you, then this isn't the gloss for you. The texture is nice, and the wear is pretty good. I like to layer it over a stain because the color is very sheer - but would be great for a soft day look. — 3 years, 9 months ago

I have this in Vanilla Birthday Cake. I bought this for times I don't feel like having extra color on my lips. This has the right touch of shimmer and is not sticky. Plus it provides great moisture to my lips as well. This is a gloss everyone should have. There are flavors that you can't find anywhere else so there's something for everyone. — 1 year ago

Not overly impressed...

The scents that philosophy uses in their glosses are so yummy, but that's the only thing I like about them. The texture is very sticky and syrupy and feels uncomfortable on my lips. Of course that probably makes them last longer but I never want it on my lips for long anyway-I always find myself wiping it off! If philosophy changed the formula to be a little more smooth, I would definitely buy them because the scents smell great and the packaging is always really cute. — 1 year, 11 months ago

Yum yum! I have these in Melon Dacquiri and Bubble Gum and they are so amazing! No color to these lovely glosses but they are nice over lipstick. You also get a huge tube for $10. I will always buy these. — 6 months ago

This lip shine is so glossy! I have pink melon and smores, also I have coconut frosting. They all smell exactly like the name says and also they have a hint of taste. They are kind of pricey so thats a turnoff, I normally don't spend 12 dollars on a gloss. Overall a pretty nice product. — 2 years, 5 months ago
