scarred childhood memories
This is the piece of junk my mom bought me in 6th grade to crimp my hair because she thought it was cute. I didn't enjoy the fact that the hot plates would always fall off and practically leap at my hand when I tried to use it. Worthless
This is hands down the worst flat-iron I've ever tried. I have almost PERFECTLY straight hair that only is wavy if I sleep on it while it's wet, and this wouldn't even straighten the slight wave out. It took like half an hour to get warm, and it made my hair SUPER gross and frizzy, even with a protecting spray over it. a waste of money
I tried to use the straightner on this conair but it made my hair poufy and it was not straight! It took too long to heat up and the temperature was not hot enough! I got this for like, my 12th birthday. Except for creating monstrous crimped "poodle" hair, it did nothing for me then, and most certainly nothing for me now. I found it when I was cleaning out my room and decided to give it a go. It took over a minute of clamping it on a small chunk of hair to even make a slight difference.
