Strong But Classic
I started using Elizabeth Arden's "Red Door" when my precious mother gave it to me in high school. It is a sophisticated, classic fragrance. A little goes a long way, but once it melds with your own body's chemistry, it is seductive and the epitome of luxury. Top notes are Lily of the Valley, Freesia, and Wild Violets. Middle notes include Red Rose, Moroccan Orange Flower, Jasmine, and Ylang. Bottom notes are created by Oakmoss, Sandalwood, and Honey. Red Door

Too strong for me
I tried this out but my skin chemistry didn't like it. It was too strong for me. Like all fragrances, you really need to sample them on your skin for a few days before making a purchase. I like getting a tad of fragrance on my wrist and letting it stay there all day to see how the body reacts. Long lasting
Personally this isn't my favorite scent, but my review is based on value and length of wear. My mother uses this and so I often borrow it when I'm visiting my parents and don't want to lug around a perfume bottle. The scent is REALLY strong for the first 15-30 minutes so I usually spray it on in the middle or beginning of my beauty routine so that by the time I'm out the door it is just right. This stuff is also very long lasting so it is great for the work day, but I'd do the walk through the mist of perfume thing instead of spritzing it directly or your more sensitive co-workers will find your scent to strong. Overpowering

Great smell !
I got this for christmas and other perfumes and i like this one its not my favorite though. This may sound strange but i love this scent because of my Grandmother!
When I was a little girl some of my favorite memories were of being with my Grandmother. I was always close to her litterally hugging the dickens out of her and I miss those times. Awhile back I began working in retail and was searching for a perfume just to spritz on for the day. I took one sniff of red door and all my wonderful memories of my grandmother came flooding back. This was her scent! I called her up and sure enough thats the perfume she used to wear all the time! She was suprised that I even remembered! Of course I remembered. Red door has such a unique floral scent. It is very pretty and I have worn this several times myself, I recommend only spraying once tho because it is pretty strong. One and only parfum
Many years ago I received a bottle of Red Door as a gift and I was stopped by strangers asking what I was wearing as it smelled so good. I've worn it ever since (over 20 years now) and I love it. THIS IS ONE OF THE FINEST PARFUM, I HAVE EVER USED. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR AT LEAST 25YEARS. I HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY COMPIMENTS FOR ITS WONDERFUL AROMA. IT'S REASONABLY PRICED AND ITS ALSO LONG WEARING, WHAT MORE COULD ONE ASKED?
