Long Lasting, No Smudge, but dries out fast
The only thing about these eyeliners that I didnt care for, was that they tend to dry out fairly quickly. They arent as creamy as the Urban Decay or MAC Powerpoint pencils, but they last longer. If you need an eyeliner that will stay on all day, this is it! However, if you like creamy liners that arent so harsh on your waterline or lashline, I wouldnt recommend these. Okay
So here's the good and the bad...if you're eyeliner doesn't budge for 12 hours, as this product claims, it makes smudging it on your top lid almost impossible. AMAZING!
After years of trying out different eyeliners, I have found it! Chanel's eyeliner is the single best eyeliner out there. Despite the product being on the pricier side, it's definitely worth every penny. I don't need to powder my eyes or lay eyeshadow over the liner to keep it from smudging or any other makeup tricks. This eyeliner delivers. It's definitely long-lasting and waterproof. The sharpener is a plus. There Until You Remove It
I have this wonderful, creamy eyeliner in several colors. It glides on smoothly and evenly and stays where you want it throughout the day or evening without any smudging. All the colors except Jade ( a light, aqua tinged green) give a sultry, smokey look which can be varied in intensity to create a look that is soft and suitable for day or dramatic for night. When the time comes to remove my makeup, it easily wipes off with Chanel's biphase eye makeup remover although I'm sure any good remover would work. Swear by it!
I use this liner for lining my bottom lids (use Lancome's ArtLiner for the top). What I love about this product is that it stays in place and won't give you the dreaded "raccoon eye." It only takes a little to define my bottom lids, so one unit of this stuff usually lasts me over a year.
