Clinique Up-lighting Liquid Illuminator Reviews

Favorite illuminator
This is my favorite illuminator ever! I wear it alone on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin for a sun kissed glow that looks very natural. However, mixing it with foundation works well too and is not too shimmery for the winter months. It is somewhat expensive but a little goes a long way so it lasts me for a while and Clinique always has their gwp or pwp which makes the value even better. — 8 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love it!
You can use this all over your face and mix it with foundation, but I just use it on my cheeks, and it is gorgeous! I have "blush"-- it's slightly shimmery and gives a pretty glow. It's smooth and silky and spreads evenly without any problems. Color payoff is sheer, yet very buildable so you can use as much or little as you want. But be careful with the pump, it squirts out way too much. The price is a little high, but you get a lot. I can see my bottle easily lasting at least a year. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Love!
This stuff really does what it says it will: it illuminates. I applied just a little bit all over my face on top of my foundation. I got the bronze shade, which works very well in taking the place of a powder bronzer. it gave my face a beautiful, dewy glow! — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Let down
The company should label this kind of product as NOT FOR OILY FACE! I bought this in UK (paid pounds for this). The consistency is kinda thick and it looks more like a tanning product, so I decided to mixed it with my liquid foundation to see if it would give me a nice JLO GLOW. BIG MISTAKE! The shimmery is just too much and I looked like a greasy disco ball after an hour. I really had high hopes for this product but it just didn´t do anything for me. I grap a tissue and started wiping it off. So not going to buy this again. They should definitely tone down the shimmery a little bit. Since it cost so much, I got to finish using it. Maybe i could use it as a highlighting bronzer on my cheek, nose and contour area. It´s been 5 years, and I still have more than half a bottle. I think I should toss it, even it still looks good and smell good — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Illuminatingly Pretty!
I have this in Natural and it is a great product. You can mix it with your foundation, moisturizer, blush, whatever. I like to mix a little in my moisturizer for a very subtle glow and then I put a little on the tops of my cheekbones for a pretty highlight. I think natural is a subtle enough glow that anyone can wear it. Very versatile product! — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Natural, beautiful glow
I love the way this product instantly brightens up my face. The color I have is "Natural" and I usually dab and blend a little on my cheekbones. It highlights without looking sparkly or glittery, wears well, and is a reasonable price for the amount you get. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Gorgeous, glowy skin
I love this product--it gives skin a beautiful (NOT shiny) glowiness when mixed with a dab of tinted moisturizer. I use the "natural" color, which is slightly peach toned, but fairly subtle. If you prefer not to use it on your entire face, you can also smooth a tiny dab along your cheekbones for natural looking glow. It definitely wakes up your skin and makes you look fresh and awake. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Love the peach color!
This can be listed under several categories. I found it under foundation and highlighter but not under blush and that is what I primarily use it as. I use it on my cheek bones. You only need a drop. It goes a long way. It spreads beautifully and blends very well. Lasts long too.It is shimmery which I love on my cheeks. Using it like powder blush I also put a little on my forehead to test it out. In the mirror it looked nice on the forehead also until.... I had my picture taken and the shimmer looked like oil instead from the flash. I think its nice for adding a teensy bit to foundation or as a blush but don't apply on your forehead, nose or chin in heavier amounts.Just keep in mind, use with a light hand! I love it, I will definitely keep using it because I love the color and it blends superb. Most "liquid" blushes or "stick" blushes dry so quickly that as you blend it turns into litle balls on your skin, like eraser shavings. That is a problem with Tarte's blush in a stick. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful
