Chanel Base Ombre a Paupieres Professional Eye Shadow Base Reviews

Not too great..
The formula is very thick and a bit dry. I believe they only have 3 colors, and they are all very light. Didnt quite get the job done as well as other primers like the Too Faced Shadow insurance or UD Primer Potion. It has a matte finish, but it didnt hold color very well and it was a bit too thick. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Didn't do a thing for me.
I've tried a lot of eyeshadow bases over the years, and am still in search of a good one. I wasn't happy with this one at all. The best that I'd ever had was Chanel's (years ago), so I went back to that brand and tried this product, despite its high price tag. Well, it was a waste of money. I have oily lids, and the shadow was creasing within an hour of application. I tried it with all different brands, and I would have been better off (and had more money) if I never had used this at all. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Chanel Eyeshadow Base
Kind of mixed on this product. When I use it my eyeshadow looks great all day long. It does tend to be a little dry. Even though a little goes a long way I was surprised to see that the tube doesn't last very long. — 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Don't wear shadow without it!
In our steamy southern climate, a girl quickly learns that an eyeshadow base is a MUST HAVE to keep lids from getting oily and shadows from creasing. This comes in two shades and look great on their own or as they are meant to be, under your eye shadow. This product is GREAT! — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Holds All Day Without Drying the Eyelids
I have dry skin and have tried numerous primers in my search for one that didn't eventually dry out my eyelids. I found that many of the eyeshadow primers out there--both cheap and expensive ones-- will do an excellent job of holding eye shadows in place, but over time, they dry out the delicate skin of the eyelids. Chanel's base, however, doesn't do that. It glides on smoothly and the slight radiance helps even out the skin tone. It provides a beautiful base which helps shadows retain there fresh applied look all day without drying. I've been using it for over three months now and my skin still looks soft and smooth. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
