gooey going on, but looks and works good after

I am a fan of anything that says it will make my lashes longer and I'm a total Chanel snob...yes I buy every single "limited edition" product, I'm a department store saleswoman's dream. So knowing that I typically buy Chanel, I'm sad to say I'm not a fan of Extracils. The good: Not clumpy The bad: I bought this product at Neimans and then exchanged it for another tube since I thought my original purchase was faulty. After applying the second tube I realized the product is just not as great as it seems. The main problem: flakes! I was constantly getting little chunks and pieces of the stuff stuck to my contact lenses. When I went back to Neimans to tell the Chanel counter they were shocked but said they heard similar complaints.
