Its pretty good considering its cheap. It straightens ok, but you have to take your time! Breaks Down
I had this years ago & I just gave up on it. I went through 2 or 3 of these because they broke so often. They get pretty hot & would do the job so someone with thinner hair or someone who doesn't have very curly hair. I have thick, wavy hair that can be frizzy at times & I would have to go over thin sections about 3 times to get it perfectly smooth & straight so I spent a lot of time styling when I used this tool. The worst part is that after all that time and effort, my hair would start getting wavy soon after & frizzy. Okay, I'm all about great deals and finding products for less that perform just as well as the pricier brands, but in appliances (especially flat irons) this is NOT the way to go. I tried this straightening iron because it was a cheaper alternative to the pricier ceramic irons, but it is a waste of money. Save your money and buy one of the more expensive flat irons; it won't cost you much more and is a much better value considering it'll last you forever and perform 100 times better. This straightener is very quick and does its job. Takes seconds to heat up/cool down, small and easy, gives a natural straight look. However, it does not make hair super straight unless you have hours, has very thin plates and takes longer, and does NOT work on wet hair:( Great for 5 minutes-a-day use, or if you want to just relax your waves/curls. Awesome Straightener!
This was my first hair straightener. I got it for Christmas last year, and it worked pretty good. It didn't take long to straighten my hair because it's in between straight and wavy, and it's not thick. It kept my hair straight until I came home from school. But then the weather started getting warmer, and my hair went back to it's natural state. I gave it to a friend of mine, and she did my hair, and I miss this thing. It's alright.
I've bought this product about 3-4 years about. It's.. satisfying. But it doesn't have enough heat to keep my hair straight. My hair tends to get stuck because of the slits on the product. Does the job,Hair Shines, Doesnt Last
I'm Usually a Revlon hair straightener buyer but i bought this cheap (in price) Conair hair straightener because i saw my friend used it and i LOVE her hair. So i bought it for under 20$ and the skinny barrel was perfect for getting precise places of my hair. It also gave my hair LOTS of shine. I remember going to school and my friend commenting on how shiny my hair was. The only con i have probably is it doesnt stay straight at all in the humidity. i mean AT ALL. Light and convenient
Alright, first i'd like to start my review with describing what type of hair i have. I have fine, long hair, but tends to get frizzy after sun and wind exposure. But with this flat iron, my hair's shine naturally comes out and the frizzies are gone. I do not know how it will work for those who have different type of hair as mine but this one is something for keeps; inexpensive but works good.
