So many perfumes are too flowery or fruity, making them smell too perfumy, but this one is neither. This smells soapy, fresh, elegant, sophisticated, and very high quality. The fragrance was interesting and nice in the sample, but awful on me. I sprayed my wrists during lunchtime shopping, and wore it for a while to smell the entire cycle. When I returned to the office, the first thing I did was wash my wrists, repeatedly. It just did not work with my body chemistry. I much prefer the original Coco by Chanel, or Miss Pucci if I'm looking for a floral. Coco Mademoiselle isn't a bad fragrance, but very context dependent, like many fragrances. — 1 year, 1 month ago

MY NEW SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE

Go to the Chanel counter or department store fragrance counter and STOP and ask for this fragrance! I know, I know, does she like anything but Chanel makeup, skincare and fragrance - you would be surprised. But as a makeup artist I try everything and some things just stick. This fragrance may not be makeup, but it is pure heaven in a bottle! I received a gift card for Bloomingdales from one of my four beautiful sisters and used it right away because we don't have one where I live. I "splurged" and bought this fragrance. I tried it on at the counter and went "shopping" for something else. I kept thinking to myself "who in the - smells so good or what is that smell [in a good way!]" IT WAS ME! My signature fragrances since I was in my thirties (I am now soon to be 43) has been Ralph Lauren Romance (I still use it from time to time) and more recently Calvin Klein's Euphoria (and it is nothing but pure euphoria), but when I found this it stuck like glue! It is very elegant, yet sensual and not obnoxious. EVERYTIME and mean EVERYTIME I wear it, I get stopped and am asked what I am wearing....by women and men. Once I was in a crowded bar and had "bellied up" to get a martini. A man was there with his wife and he caught me just as I was turning around and asked me what it was. He said to his wife he really wanted to get that fragance for her. I got the "eye" from the wife and hopefully, if they made it to the mall in time, he got more than the "eye" that night. BEEEEE careful you could have hoards of the opposite sex following around! It has serious staying power, especially if you layer with the body cream and powder - yet still not obnoxious. — 4 years, 2 months ago
