Just Okay

This waterproof mascara is good but I don't think it's for me. The length of the brush is larger than normal mascara brushes that I've had in the past and the brush makes it hard to maneuver around my short lashes. The mascara also comes on slightly clumpy because of the length and shape of the brush. The waterproof part is great and it can last all day without smudging. However, it's also very tough to remove with the makeup remover that I have. Ultimately, this mascara did not give me results that I hoped for. — 6 months ago

Lenghtens!

I love this mascara because it makes my lashes look so luscious. It lengthens my lashes without clumping. If the price wasn't so steep, I would re-purchase again without hesitating. — 3 years ago

Lancôme Hypnosee Waterproof

NO ONE has better mascara than Lancôme! This mascara gives you nice thick lashes and doesn't come off. One reviewer said it is hard to get off...of course it is. It's waterproof! If you use quality remover, you won't have any problems. I wouldn't recommend this mascara for lower lashes because of the brush size, but Lancôme has plenty others to cover that. The "Wow!" Factor

This mascara did a wonderful job of lengthening, thickening, and curling my eyelashes. After applying two light coats, my eyelashes definitely had that "Wow!" factor that lasted throughout the evening. A bonus is that the mascara is easy to remove. I do have one complaint, however. I found the very large brush to be way too cumbersome. When applying the mascara, I had to take extra care to avoid smudges on my lids. In short, the mascara is great, but the brush is not. I solved the problem by using one of my older, smaller brushes. It works just as well with the mascara without the smudges. If not for the poor design of the brush, I would rate the mascara a 10. — 2 years, 11 months ago

LOVE my Hypnose Mascara!

I absolutely LOVE Lancome's Hypnose mascara! It gives great length and volume. The best thing is the more you apply, the better it looks. This is one of the only mascaras that I have found that truely last all day without flaking off and it Never clumps! I couldn't live without my Hypnose mascara! — 3 years ago

Favorite mascara

I have mostly straight lashes and curl them every day, and this is one of the very few mascaras that don't straighten them back out. I also love that it's waterproof and literally use it every single day. It doesn't clump, it holds the curl very well, and it's a nice shiny black. I'm almost out right now and I will surely be buying it again! — 3 years ago

Gives great fake lashes look!

I'm Asian and I have short, straight eyelashes. I normally curl my eyelashes with my Shu Uemura eyelash curler, and then I apply mascara. This is my first Lancome mascara and I am sooo glad I picked this mascara! This mascara works just as good as my favorite drugstore mascaras, Maybelline New York Define-a-Lash Waterproof Lengthening Mascara and CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Waterproof Mascara but BETTER!!! I am able to apply as many coats of mascara as I want without it clumping too much. REMEMBER TO LET EACH LAYER DRY BEFORE APPLYING THE NEXT LAYER OR ELSE IT'LL CLUMP!!! I think I have about 5 coats of mascara on now and I look like I have fake lashes on. This mascara also makes my eyes look like I'm wearing eye-liner WITHOUT wearing eyeliner. — 8 months, 1 week ago
