Apparently the point of this non-yellowing base coat is to give something to your polish to "stick" to. Good idea, but in my case, I accidentally once applied this as my base coat and forgot to polish my nails. It dried rock hard. Good for me, bad for the point of the product? Even though that happened to me I still give this a good rating. I only wear dark polish and before this I would have yellow nails all of the time. Does not have hardening ingredients, so if you need a nail fortifier try something else. I have naturally hard, strong, no ridge nails (curse me, I know), so this is perfect. — 3 years, 1 month ago

how basecoat should be

Not only does this help prevent your nails from chipping for approx 4-5 days, but it makes it easier to apply nail polish. The brush almost sticks to the base coat and makes it easier to guide the polish on. The result is a mess free, long lasting manicure. I wasn't expecting this to be amazing but I have never been so impressed with a self manicure or have gotten so many compliments! — 1 month, 2 weeks ago

pedi for a good two weeks easy

Sticky Sandwich

The Sticky Sandwich Start with a clean dry nail. Apply a thin coat of Sticky. Follow with your polish of Choice. The Sticky will anchor the polish to your nail. Apply Sticky again "sandwiching" in the polish. Wait about 3-5 min before applying your top coat. The Sticky will then anchor the top coat to the polish! Miracle for natural nails

This product really does save both time and money. I rarely have a chip a week into my manicure, and I could never say that prior to Stickey. Also, strengthen with your base coat of choice, then a coat of Stickey, and then your nail color - doesn't take as long as it sounds, and is ALWAYS worth it! — 4 years ago

My Favorite Base Coat

Great product! Makes most nail polishes, both cheap and expensive hold firm on my nails from 5-10 days. After 2-3 days I do see some minor (like < 1mm in size) wearing at the tips, but unlike with every other base/topcoat combo I've tried, that wearing never seems to contribute to larger chips or peeling. With this I can usually make a manicure last a week and still look decent when I take it off. Any time I get lazy and skip using this product I regret having done so the very next day. One drawback I noticed is that after a few months of weekly usage, some of my nails (not polish, *nail*) started peeling. It was a bit distressing at first, but I tried putting on a nail strengthener underneath Stickey and that seems to fix it. The extra layer between my nail and Stickey, thankfully, doesn't weaken Stickey's effectiveness any, so I'm not marking down the product by much. Obviously, I'd prefer a basecoat that did Stickey's job without the cost to my nails, but I can't find anything that works as well as it does, so I'm inclined to believe that's just the price you have to pay to keep a manicure looking nice for so long! — 4 years, 6 months ago
