LOVE!
I love the look of matte lipstick but hate the dry feel. This is perfection: semi-matte look, silky feel, long lasting. I'm pale with dark hair, and when I wear "Rapturous", a deep berry red, I feel glamorous but not over-made up. Perfect Matte Liptstick!
I'm a little young to truly remember the matte lipsticks of the past - i was still a child in the 80's. However, I'm willing to try just about anything once to see if it works for me. The Mattene lipsticks - they work! The colors are beautiful, the pigment rich and intense and the finish is silky and matte. Even though it's definitely a matte finish, it glides on smoothly and doesn't look dried out or dry out your lips. I have two colors - a neutral and a red and both are just lovely. brilliant colors

Silky matte
I am a big fan of matte lipsticks. And, I have always thought that MAC made some of the best. Well, they have topped themselves with this one. The color goes on smooth, silky and rich. It does not dry or chap your lips like some matte lipsticks do.
