Benefit moon beam Reviews

Okay, but not for me
volta (516 reviews)I love the opal sheen you see in the bottle. That doesn't show up on your skin, but that's probably a good thing. It's more of a light gold. I have medium skin and it doesn't really do much for me. That's just the way I viewed it on myself, someone else might like it. I too prefer the High Beam better. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I agree with another reviewer
CaroleVonAllten (1154 reviews)This is not as good as Benefit high beam. Would recommend not wasting your money. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for a natural glow
pynkNymphette (189 reviews)Moon beam is one of my favorite highlighters I own. It comes out a pearly pink with a tiny bit of gold shimmer to it. When I swipe it across my cheek bones it instantly makes my face glow! When applied to the brow bone is really makes my eyes POP! I am totally in love with the color, packaging and super cute name of this product. The applicator is really neat and you never put on too much product with it. You only need a teeny tiny bit to get an amazing glowing effect on your face. I like this one a little bit more than Benefit's High beam because this has golden shimmer where the other one has silver. I am taking one star off because it is a little too expensive for the tiny amount of product you get. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

too irridescent
MakeupGuru (424 reviews)This isn't as good as high beam because it is too irridescent to apply to your face. It gives you an obvious blueish rainbow hue that stands out too much, not best for nudy glowy look. I have no use for this. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not good at all
hananoire (49 reviews)I disliked this intently. It's greasy, sticky, and way to shiny/shimmery for the face. Maybe it'd work as a body highlighter, but for the face is a no no. It's too expensive for a product that is so bad. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great color, awful finish
D.Catherine (38 reviews)I bought this after running out of my illuminating primer, thinking that this, in conjunction with the Laura Mercier primer I bought, would be the new and improved version of the look I was trying to achieve (which was a glowing, effervescent visage on four hours' sleep). I liked the glow this product gave me, but it was useless under foundation. Not only did the iridescence not shine through even the sheerest of foundations, but it turned my once-velvety foundation into a sticky mess that refused to set. I decided to use it over foundation, only on the tops of my cheekbones, and I've gotten much better results. I still prefer to go as bare-faced as I can stand, and this doesn't wow me enough to add to my regular makeup regimen. I use it when I'm in need of hat little something extra or have just gotten bitten by the dewy finish bug. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sun Beam
lilinah (31 reviews)Best for warm or darker or tanned skin. Gives a lovely golden peach glow on cheekbones, brow bones, anywhere you highlight. Best w/ warm or neutral makeup (for cool toned skin or makeup, try Benefit's silvery pink High Beam). The bottle has a nail polish like brush. A little goes a long way: only a few dots, then blend w/ fingers or foundation or concealer brush. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

LOVE IT
shoshie (18 reviews)This is a great product to use as a highlight on your cheek or to mix into your foundation to bring a sexy all over glow! THIS IS A MUST! If you use it mixed with foundation use High beam as your cheek highlight to create definiation — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Expected more
Elmareeh (17 reviews)I like the idea of an illuminator/highlighter for the face. I have this product and it just doesn't do the job for me. It goes on a bit watery. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
