  The Lippmann polishes are really wonderful. The formula allows it to be applied thinly (no goop!) and the bottle/ brush design prevents the application process from getting messy. With a top/ base coat, your manicure should last a least a week. The polishes are on the expensive side ($15 each), but if you really love a c...olor, invest in a bottle because it's totally worth it. I have Bitches Brew which is a cult favorite; the color is a fantastic shimmery burgundy wine with a slight hint of brown. October 30, 2007, 3:10 am

  Worth every penny.

  Though it is hard to find, Lippmann Collection nail lacquers are my favorite nail polish available. There are plenty of colors, each bottle "keeps" for a long time without getting thick or gloopy, and it does not chip easily. My favorite thing about these polishes is that I can usually get even color with one coat..., and if I have time to put on two, my nails look absolutely amazing.   Great nail color

  I like this collection of nail polish though I wish it were a little easier to find. The variety of colors is great (not all reds and maroons) and the names are entertaining. I have Just Walk Away, Renee and it's a deep dark red. My polish usually lasts a little over a week on my toes without chipping. It goes on smooth...ly, a nice brush is provided, and the finish is not streaky. December 11, 2007, 6:23 am

  Grow baby Grow!

  I love this line of polish for so many reasons! First off, it doesn't have formaldehyde in it which is great for the enviornment and for me personally. Secondly, it has anti-fungul qualities to it so I can share with my friend sor at the nail salona nd know I'll be ok. It also has biotin in it which had helped my nails t...o grow and grow!!!   Pricey, but worth it

  The $15.00 price tag may scare some away, but it is worth it, mostly because the polish goes on thin. That may seem like a disadvantage, but what it means is that the polish doesn't get thick in the bottle like some nail polishes after just a few uses. So the polish doesn't go on all gloopy and lasts longer. Gotta love t...he collaborations with celebs, too; Mariah Carey, Pat Benatar, Renee Zellweger, etc. Only downside--the color descriptions are sometimes not accurate. October 26, 2007, 6:34 am

  Love the colors

  My favorite color is "B**ches Brew." Everyone always asks me what color I have on when I use it. This polish is not that chip resistant, maybe I get an extra days worth of wear, but it goes on smoothly, and the colors are intense. March 23, 2008, 5:06 pm

  Easy application and great colors

  The Lippman colors I have used are very easy to apply and the appearance is very smooth and velvety looking. The colors last from one manicure to the next - I also use the base coat (ridge filler) and it improves the appearance even more - every product I have used would be recommended.   Call Me Irresponsible - the best purple colored nail polish

  I had never heard of this brand until I tried this. I wasn't too thrilled with the purple color. I am over 40 and a bit conservative. Well, I gave it a try and I love it. This is the smoothest, creamiest nail polish ever. I can ever modify the color depending on how i apply it (light or darker).   By far the best!

  There is no better polish out there as far as I'm concerned. I have My Old Flame and it is the best red I've ever worn. As the nail tech who first put it on my nails said, "I would wear this color all over my body if I could!" It goes on smooth and has the staying power.
