These glide on easy, and have creamy long lasting color that doesn't smudge or budge. It isn't sparkly... just a pretty shimmer. The color payoff is amazing (meaning it is deep and solid, not sheer and see through). I like dramatic eyes and these give me just that for a night when I want to look and feel extra pretty. I like the bronzy/gold color along my lower lash line to make my eyes pop. I was so sad when Bourjois stopped selling in the states because I had just discovered these. I bought a ton when they were on sale. They are soft - one of the few pencils that goes on without any tugging - and the colors are just wonderful and they wear well. I own the black and brown and they are great but i find that after awhile and towards the afternoon i start to look tired and they smear whether or not i touch my eyes. They are very blendable and have great color- go on VERY easy. Its a great product overall especially if you've had problems with eyeliner in the past.
