Help Me Retinol Treatment
I use this at night. I wait a while for it to soak in, then apply moisturizer because it can dry up your skin. In the morning, my face looks really radiant. I highly recommend this product for people with acne or wrinkles. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Nice Product...Too Expensive
I like Help Me Retinol Treatment but not enough to continue to pay a high price for a small tube. The cream did not cause any irritation to my skin and I liked the consistency as well. I think the Proactiv Clarifying Night Cream works better and is a lot less expensive than Philosophy. Even if you don't have acne, if you want a fabulous retinol night cream, try the Proactiv Clarifying Night Cream. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Never again!
This was my final skin care purchase from Philosophy after being relatively loyal to the brand for years. I returned this after a month of use. Why? For something that is supposed to be an amazing anti-aging product, it only managed to make my skin super acne-prone. I was breaking out left and right. I have good skin, and like most women I get the occasional breakout, but NOTHING like this. I was averaging 3-4 new breakouts per day. Once I stopped using this product, it took a few weeks for my skin to heal and go back to normal. I knew right away that this was the only new product I was using, therefore I couldn't blame any other product. Either I had a reaction to it, or this can happen to other people as well. I will never use it again, obviously, and quite frankly, I have found several anti-aging products that don't harm my skin since getting this stuff far away from me. Ladies, don't waste your money. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 12 people said helpful

Nothing visible
This product doesn't irritate my skin, which is great for a retinol. However, it doesn't give me any specific benefits that I've noticed. I've used half the tube and I don't see a difference in my skin. I didn't return it but I will not purchase it again. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Philosophy Help Me Retinol Treatment
I have been using prescription retiniods for years for my acne, and I always am on the look out for something I don't need a prescription for. I read a few very favorable reviews of Philosophy Help Me Retinol Treatment, so I decided to give it shot to see if it was effective as Retin A Micro. Sadly, it just didn't work out as well for me as I had hoped. It didn't help with my break outs, and it felt heavy and greasy on my skin. It is also kind of expensive and it just wasn't as effective as I had hoped. Perhaps someone who doesn't have acne would find it works better for them than I, but it just isn't a product I will repurchase. I went back to Retin A Micro, and sadly, it appears that I will be using prescription retinols instead of trying to find something that works as well for my breakouts. This product might work for someone with fine lines to boost collagen reproduction, but it isn't very effective with acne prone skin. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 8 people said helpful

Good so far...
I have only used this for two nights, but already it's shrinking my pores and getting rid of my acne. Hopefully it will continue! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Harsh
It gave a bit of radiance, nothing dramatic. The moisturizing was good. But the stinging went on longer than I liked. I now have some more visible capillaries, instead of less, although any connection may be circumstantial. It also may that retinoids are wrong for me from any cream. Setting those issues aside, the performance was just "meh". — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Keeps my skin from breaking out. This is a must have for me. I use it nightly followed by Hope in a jar — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Red Rash
Maybe my skin just does not do well with retinol. Just like Mary Kay's TimeWise 3-in-1 cleanser, this made my face progressively more red and broken out the longer I used it. I bought this in a set along with the Hope in a Jar (which sadly had no SPF) and the Purity cleanser (which I LOVE). I had to return this product as I got more and more depressed the longer I used it. I never thought I had sensitive skin until I bought this. Tread carefully. — 7 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
