This lip-plumping treatment gloss is meant to be used nightly before bed to garner the effects of "injectables like collagen and hyaluronic acid." That's a stretch. The HA in the formula does draw water to swell lips temporarily (expect the plump to last for about an hour) but the company suggests the ingredients cause long-term plumping without backing up the claim via independent clinical studies. And for $50, why save the short-term plumping benefit for bedtime unless you've got company?

This product causes your lips to get inflamed so they look red and puffy. After multiple uses, your lips get very dry and painful. I became immune to this after a couple days. I will never buy this product again.
