Have Mixed Feelings About This Product!
This product certainly isn't the worst mineral powder foundation that I have tried. However, it certainly isn't the best. Now, it doesn't break me out and it took my having to change moisturizers and wear a primer for it not to get itchy on my face. The product doesn't have any oil control properties to it, so wearing a finishing powder over it is a must. I can get pretty good coverage with it when I use BE's Kabuki brush to apply it with. As, the Flawless Face Brush that normally comes with it really gives too light of a coverage and doesn't allow you to really cover your imperfections correctly. And, this powder foundation does feel lightweight on the skin, as it never feels like I am wearing a mask when I do wear it. Now, this powder foundation does give off a sheen to the face. Which is why, I honestly wish that it was made to be more matte-looking. But, when I do wear the foundation, I just try to tolerate the sheen nevertheless. This product is pricey. But, because you only use small amounts of it at a time, one pot of this stuff really lasts a long time. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 11 people said helpful

Easy to use, not good for dry or uneven skin
I love the bareMinerals eye makeup and even though I rarely wear foundation I thought I'd give it a try. Well, this doesn't really work for me. I tend to have dry skin and this accentuated any areas that had dry flaky skin. I also wouldn't recommend this for anyone who touches their face a lot unless you use a primer because it does come off pretty easily. The pluses is that it did feel nice while wearing it and in places that my skin wasn't dry or uneven it did even out my complexion beautifully. I ended up giving it to a friend who has an amazing complexion as it is, but she enjoyed it to cut down redness on her face. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 9 people said helpful

Make sure you're adequately moisturized beforehand!
I got this in light, and it was a little more pink in tone than I expected but it wasn't noticeable. If you apply it without having a well moisturized face before hand, you'll look like you got attacked by a sack of $25 dollar flour. But applied correctly, it evened out my skin tone without making me look like a makeup monster and kept my face oil free for 12 hours. (On top of the wondrous oil fighting powers of the mineral veil, I never have to use blotting paper again!) Not overrated in the slightest. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 10 people said helpful

NOT for oily skin
I tried this finally. Sadly i think it pretty much sucks. I have tried many other mineral powders and this is the worst of the ones i have used. I have oily skin and after wearing this for just a few hours it looks AWFUL I always use a primer and have never seen a mineral powder look this bad. I will stick with the less expensive brand and look alot better doing so. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

Didn't perform miracles for me, but it certainly does for some!
This mineral foundation came quite close to being perfect for me. It feels great on my skin and has decent staying power for me. It is very finely milled and it is a loose powder so it can be a little messy to apply (especially if you're throwing it in your make-up bag and going). The coverage is good but I wouldn't say it's spectacular; you can get as good coverage with a cheaper products though it did an amazing job hiding acne scars. It didn't last as long as I usually need (some days, I'm out of the house from 8am until 10pm) and since it can be messy to apply it isn't practical for me to haul to school or work. I do think it would work great on anyone with sensitive skin as it is a very gentle makeup. While I didn't love it for myself, I did find that it looked great and worked better on other people. Oh and if you have bad skin or have wrinkles, don't be scared to try it! I used this on my grandmother when we went to my brother's wedding and it lasted all day on her, covered redness on her cheeks, and actually did minimize wrinkles; in short, it made her skin look amazing all day! One of my cousin also uses it and it covers blemishes and stays on despite having oilier skin. So it doesn't do huge wonders for me this gets high marks because I see what it can do for other people. You should definitely try it because it really can do your skin a whole lot of favors! — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Too Drying
I was hoping to find my perfect foundation to cover up small blemishes, but this did not work out. Even after A LOT of blending every little blemish was still visible and to top it off, I was left with super dry skin even though I had normal skin to begin with. Very dissapointing especially for such a high priced product. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

One of my favorites
I heard about this product after years of not wearing makeup because I couldn't stand the feel and smell of liquid foundation. I am now hopelessly devoted--I won't wear anything else. It gives great coverage and doesn't irritate my acne-prone skin. — 5 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Better for dry skin
BareMinerals is probably the best mineral makeup I've tried, but I don't think it's worth the price so I stopped using it. It gives pretty good coverage, and looks almost flawless when first applied, but by the middle of the day, it can get really shiny. I would only recommend this for people with dry/sensitive skin. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful
