Good scent
While I love the scent of this salve and thought the tin was adorable, I felt like it was too difficult to get out of the tin. I also thought the texture of the salve was too hard and greasy. I would not use this again. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good stuff.
First of all, I love that Burt's Bees products are not only earth friendly and natural, but also adorably packaged, AND they're headquartered in my old college town of Durham, North Carolina! But onto the product. I really like this hand salve a lot. It has kind of an earthy, herbally scent (rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus are included in the ingredients). It's a bit pungent, and if you're used to florally sweet products, this will be a bit of a change. The texture is a little hard as a solid in the tin, and you'll have to scrape some out. However, it quickly becomes more spreadable in consistency due to the heat of your body. It sitll applies rather thick and a little greasy. It's definitely more of a hand treatment than a product you can throw on and then go about doing things. But when your hands are really in need of some TLC, this stuff is great. The tin is huge and will last for quite awhile. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

A good product for severely dry skin.
For me personally, the smell is a little overwhelming although my mom likes the scent. It does a very good job of moisturizing my hands, although it can leave fingers a little greasy right after applying. Very good for my dry knuckles and cuticles. I've even used it on my face when my skin was peeling terribly from the winter weather--I was pretty desperate because some other lotions made my skin burn and I really needed some moisture in my skin! It was actually a good quick-fix and didn't even cause me to break out. Not the best for carrying around, and I wish the scent were more mild, but a really good product to have on hand for dry skin emergencies! — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Great Value
This is a really great all natural product for dry chapped hands. I'm the type of person who likes to use products that are as natural as possible because I believe that it is better for my skin and this certainly does heal my hands. A little on the smelly side but you get so much out of so little. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Hands are so soft!
This is a great hand salve for dry cracked skin. It is extremely lightweight, doesn't smell, and isn't greasy feeling. After just two days of use I noticed a major difference in the look and feel of my hands. Plus it's 100% natural :). — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

goes rancid in a year
This salve may be great at first, but it is waxy and very greasy, so use this only if you have very dry or cracking skin. The product begins to smell funny after a while, then the wax starts to harden up more, and after a year, it became so funky in the waxy smell that I had to throw it away before I could even finish half way. I'd rather save my money next time. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

works very well
I used this on my elbows and any very dry spots. Its to oily to use as an everyday hand creme so I just use it when I really need to. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good Product.
I really like this product, but I like my products to be in containers that squeeze or pump the product into my hand, not where my hand has to go into the product. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

hand saver
This is great for those who get really dry, chapped hands. It's like an ointment for your skin. Plus a little goes a long way. I like to use it after washing dishes. The only thing I don't like is the medicine-y smell. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
