Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick Reviews

Doesn't work for me
This blemish stick is very inexpensive and maybe that's why it doesn't do anything. I'll stick with Origins on the spot remover. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Mmm
This was my go to spot treatment (now I use dry lotion and I LOVE) but this did work to but just not as fast — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Didn't help me
My wife got this for herself and when I tried it my breakout only got worse. I tried it a second time and I broke out more again so I don't know if it's me or it but we don't mix well. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

works well!
My husband and I have been using this for the past 2-3 mo and we both really like this. It smells very natural and isn't overwhelming. It speeds up the healing time of a pimple or blemish. When I apply it I wait for it to feel cold then I know the oils touched my skin. Use it on blemishes too! — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

nah
This didn't seem to do much for my zits and whiteheads. Plus since it's a liquid it doesn't stay on the zit you want to zap. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Really works!
You don't hear much about using tea tree oil to clear up blemishes as often as other things like salicylic acid or sulfur, but people should really know about it! It works really well (especially on sensitive skin) and doesn't have the drying effects of salicyclic acid. The smell is a little bit herbal but it's not noticeable at all. It dries on your skin clear and leaves no residue, so you could wear it under your makeup. Probably one of the best pimple spot treatments I've tried. One little issue that sort of bugged me was the applicator, which is like a little rolling ball applicator. Problem is, when you apply it to your skin, the bacteria from the pimple gets into the little tube and over time, you can see it going bad! The liquid will just get all cloudly and you can see little sediments floating in it. But besides the short shelf-life, it's definitely worth it. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

It does work!
I tried this after using other drug store products that just did not work. This is really good at shrinking my pimples and helping them heal. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Ow!
Okay, first of all--I love this packaging! It's a glass vial that feels so very expensive. The applicator, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It's a roller ball, which means the liquid inside the vial gets all nasty after a while. The smell is pretty herbal, but not wholly unpleasant. It also works pretty well, but it gets used up pretty quick due to the applicator! It also burns more than I like, but if you're looking for a good natural pimple treatment and don't have overly sensitive skin--this is for you! — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Try ELF's Zit Zapper instead
This helped my acne clear a day or two early, but at times it was extremely irritating. I've found that if I use a strong salicylic acid face cleanser first and apply this blemish stick after, the Burt's Bees actually burns my face and causes redness. However, when I use a more gentle cleanser, I don't have the same problem. ---> Update: I recently purchased elf's zit zapper blemish stick and it works so much better than this product (and elf's zit zapper is only $1). I absolutely recommend checking out elf's product first before trying Burt's Bees (I love the BB line, but elf has them beat on this product). — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Does good job, but not very quickly
This spot treatment does a good job at clearing up pimples, and has a fresh herbal scent. With average usage, it doesn't dry up your skin and it helps fade blemishes. However, it's by no means an overnight miracle. My blemishes do calm down when I use it, but it takes about 4 days for them to disappear completely. — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
