Warm, sweet and sensual
The scent is like a vanilla extract blended with woody and earthy spices. It dries down to a nice warm and sensual musky sweet vanilla scent. It is nice, but the scent got a little boring for me after wearing it for consecutive days. In other words, it is not exciting enough for me to wear daily. Don't get me wrong, I love the dominant scent of this bottle, but when I want a vanilla scent, I would probably get a lighter version such as vanilla body mist/spray, which is much less expensive. The plaid bottle design of Brit is adorable and adds a distinctive accent on my vanity, but as for the fragrance, my favorite Burberry perfume is still Burberry Classic, which smells more sophisticated with depth for me, and overall their scent works better on my skin than Brit. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Burberry Brit was my first ever 'signature' scent for quite a few years. It got to the point were I couldn't even really distinguish it from my own body's scent hehe! After Brit I switched to Angel but it was never quite the same. Brit has this fabulous blend of sugary flowers and very green, earthy smells that makes it totally unisex [to my nose any way]. All of my previous boyfriends and current husband have rocked this perfume with me and we always receive compliments. I constantly have women coming up to me and asking what I'm wearing when I have this on so beware because it's a CHICK MAGNET! lol The price is a little steep because it's got the name BURBERRY on it and my only major complaint is that it isn't as long lasting as some of my other perfumes but I LOVE re-applying it anyway because it is such a refreshing scent! — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Safe Warmth
This scent is safe for daytime use and is a warm alternative to florals. It makes you want to hug the woman and have a little rub off. Burberry Brit
I'm madly in love with the men's version of this (not for myself, but on pretty much ANY man. LOL.), so I decided to try this out for myself about two years ago. I came away with a bottle and quickly used up 3/4's of it. It's a sexy frgrance, but it's clean, not too over-powering, and you don't have any musk or other unpleasant notes to contend with. It's what some people would consider a "powdery" scent, but it does change per your body chemistry. Note about the eau de parfum
I love Burberry Brit eau de toiletette. I love how fresh it smells and the way it dries down, and the way it lingers on my coats. I agree that it makes for a great signature scent, something that can be worn all year long. When I saw the eau de parfume was avalible I got really excited and purchased it. Sadly, although it shares a few notes with the eau de toilette, it doesn't smell true to Burberry Brit to me. I was hoping that in the eau de parfume I would find a stronger, longer lasting version, but whatever ingredient gives the eau de toilette it's freshness seems to be completely absent. Too vanilla-y on me
Perfumes smell differently on different people, so don't take my 4-star review too seriously if you really want to give this a go; Brit just didn't work for me. I was drawn to the plaid, modern bottle and the sparkling opening note of pear. Once the scent died down, however, it was overwhelmingly vanilla in a food-y way, not in a sexy way. Warm and Inviting
I like the warm vanilla tones paired with light spice in this perfume. It's good for the transitional period between summer and fall. It's not too light, not too heavy.
