One of my favorite lip balms

I love this balm. Although the smell is pretty strong, it's pleasant and I've gotten used to it. My friends (guys and gals) have also started using this product because it's great! I like to have it on hand.

EH.

I don't really get the hype on this. I know it's supposed to be the best, but once the tingly feeling wears off, you're just left with a regular waxy chapstick. I am nonplussed by this product.

extended use problems

Initially, I was thrilled w/ this lip balm. However, after extended use, my lips became dry--peeling and painfully cracked. I mentioned it to a friend who said she, too, had been using this item w/ identical results. I immediatly discontinued use of this product, applied Vaseline to my lips, and rejoiced at complete healing w/in a few days. No more Burt's Bees lip products for me, thankyouverymuch!

ABSOLUTE BEST CHAPSTICK EVER

After years of trying everything out there from plain old chapstick, to Vaseline to Neutrogena, to Smiths Rosebud salve, etc. etc....once i found Burts Bees Beeswax lip balm I NEVER LOOKED BACK and I will continue buying this original formular forever (I just bought a 4 pack for $9.99 at Target), it used to be that I could only get it online or in specialty stores or at Cracker Barrel, then CVS st...read morearted carrying it a few years ago and recently I have seen it at Target, Meijer, Kroger, etc. HOORAY...no more having to hunt down a tube of Burts Bees. Your lips will neve rbe chapped or dry if you use this daily. My son even uses it. I have a tube in my purse, one by the front door for him to use before he goes out and one in each bedroom, it really is great, but only if you use it regularly. My boyfriend does not like it because he does not like the pepperminty coolness of it, but we love it and it WORKS GREAT.

Tingly Yet Waxy

The thing I like best about this lip balm is that it leaves a fresh, tingly, minty feel right after applying and lasts for awhile. It actually feels really good and it's all natural! I took one star off because it is a bit waxy, but overall it leaves your lips feeling moisturized and tingly!

The Perfect Chapstick

I am suchh a big fan of Burts Bees-- and this is their classic product. I love the tingly, minty, Burts Beesy, feeling you get on your lips, not too mention all the hydration and natural ingredients!! :D

Like no other lip balm

I always lose lip balms, so I've bought a wide variety of different lip balms and this I have to say is my absolutely favorite. It really is refreshing and gives a cooling effect. It's different than other lip balms because of the substance is made of, it seriously not messy and does not feel like petroleum jelly all over. Many people do not like the smell of it, but personally I love it. When you go buy it, it may seem pricey than the other lip balms, but it's totally worth it.

Simple and effective

THE BEST! Inexpensive and made with simple ingredients, this lip balm has been a staple of mine for many years. From the little yellow tins to this new packaging, the quality has remained the same- extraordinary. Drying and irritating

I find that this lip balm tends to dry out my lips and make them peel. Thus, this is a completely useless lip balm for me. I prefer Paula's Choice Lip & Body Treatment Balm, although I wish it came in a stick like Burt's Bees instead of a pot. Ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol, lanolin, peppermint oil, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract.

Best Lip Product

I swear by this stuff... i always keep it in my purse or bag, and I love love love it! First, the scent is so light and refreshing. I also like how it doesn't feel goopey or sticky like some lip stuff does. I used to have horrible chapped lips and I started using this about 2 years ago and never dealt with that again.
