This chapstick smells great, but really does nothing for the lips. It feels way too waxy.. I hate the bitter taste too! The hype suckered me in. It just sits on top of your mouth and feels gross. I won this product and fell in love! The smell is delicious and doesn't feel waxy.I had my husband try some and found my tube had gone M.I.A. It is back in my custody ha! ha!. Like it!
I received this product for free when I purchased another product. At first, I thought it was a bit hard and I had to press deeply to get the moisture I wanted. Maybe the bees wax takes some geting used to? I do like the peppermint oil in it, but the lip balm itself is a bit sticky. This is one product that I take with me traveling. It gives me a home away from home feeling. Soothing. Works. Smells wonderful. Use this every night before bed.
This is one of my favorites to keep my lips from drying out at night. The beeswax formula puts a protective layer over my lips that stays put. I love the cool minty-ness of it. Plus, when I wake up in the morning it's not all goopy like with other products. my savior!!
As with all my Burt's Bees products I am extremely happy with this one. During the winter my lips get very dry and when I used other balms I found myself using them constantly but with this it lasts a lot longer and is so smooth! The Best
Even the other Burt's Bees lip balms can't live up to the original. The smell, taste, feel, and slightly glossy finish are all close to perfect.
