Really a wonderful fragrance...
I am a big fan of Cabochard by Gres and Aromatics Elixir by Clinique. All three of these fragrances were made by the same perfumer and when I found that out I was delighted! Leather chypres and not for everyday wear. I don't think, since Americans tend to love clean fragrances, that Azuree would be welcomed by many people and especially by those who are younger as it's really heavy on the oakmoss and vetyver. It's potent stuff but if you can rock it then it's out of this world. Also the leather in this is great too. The price is a steal if you can find it at a Cosmetics Company Store, which is owned by Estee Lauder btw. Great gem that seems to often get ignored in favor of EL's newer stuff. A classic really. Have they changed the formula?
I remember this as being one of my favorite scents back in the day. Either Estee Lauder has changed the formula or my sense of smell has sharpened. It seems a little too strong now.
