    Absolutely AWESOME

I luv this stuff!!!! I use it after I go in the pool and it doesn't make my hair turn green . I have Blondel and that's why I use this.

    Good for hair disasters!

Oh my goodness. I've been waiting to post about this for a few days just so I could calm down. For those of you who read this blog regularly, you'll know that I do not colour my hair. I do however use a clear gloss by Matrix called Prizms Plus. On Sunday I want to one of the beauty supplies and was buying the new Paul Mitchell Lavender Mint Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner (more on that lat...read moreer, but just know now that it is fabulous). Well, I was also there to pick up some more of the gloss. Only I decided that I would get the 'Natural Copper' shade (my hair is naturally auburn) just to give it a little extra vibrancy, something 'noticeably - unnoticeable'. This stuff is just semi-permanent and my hair is totally virgin so I thought everything would be dandy. Only it wasn't. Cut to Sunday night in my bathroom... my husband comes in as I'm mutli-tasking-beautifying and asks "Are you dyeing your hair?!" "NO! I don't dye my hair, it's a colour gloss" But things were not looking good, they were looking a little carrot-y, and it only got worse. I washed my hair 8 times in attempt to loose some of the colour but to no avail. When I got out, my hair was orange-red. I could hardly sleep that night scared to go to work, I woke up multiple times and kept thinking to myself - 'you look like Ronald McDonald!' Anyway (and we are coming to the product solution soon) I went back to the beauty supply on Monday and got the low down from some professional hair stylists. (Note to self -I'm an esthetician, I shouldn't pretend I know hair colour!) Since it was just colour depositing things were going to be ok, eventually. To fix the situation without damaging my hair they told me NOT to use a colour lifter or peroxide developer but to just use Paul Mitchell's Shampoo 3. This stuff is a great clarifying shampoo that I already use, I really like to use it prior to deep conditioning and in this situation it has helped me to wash away pigment in just a few days opposed to the four weeks it would probably take on it's own. I was also lucky because red pigment fades the quickest anyway. (Just make sure to really deep condition your hair afterword, this stuff not only gets rid of product buildup but also your natural oils. It's just a good occasional shampoo but a great solution for too dark or just down right bad hair colour. Luckily, my hair is very healthy and is handling this kind of torment rather well. Well, that was a long story... just keep this little nugget of info in the back of your mind in case you ever need it.
