It is better than the average shampoo. It keeps my hair from breaking as much as it was but it is still breaking a little more than I expected. It rinses very clean, too clean, as in I get really bad knots. Overall, I like it ok and it the results were good, just not great. What i mean by that is I actually like it better then the ones i buy for 15$ at Ulta. It was a few dollars cheaper but does the job. My hair isn't color treated but I do straighten it everyday so i need products to keep it strong. This product smelled great in the shower and lathered well. I ran my fingers through it nicely and it didnt feel like it was stripping my hair and it didn't make it tangle. It suppose to have proteins in it so it may be a little drying but i did notice it was a little softer and stronger after heat styling. So my hair is colored blonde and i have a little lighter shade but i have looked for something that will keep the color, and this did. As well as keep my oily hair clean all day. I have naturally dark brown hair and bleach it blonde, so my hair was getting considerably damaged. My stylist recommended this, and by my next appointment, we both noticed a major difference. My hair has less split ends, is softer and shinier, and I definitely see less hair in the drain after I shower.
